Israel pushes ahead with vast illegal settlement in heart of West Bank

🤯 Can't believe how fast they're pushing this through! Like, what's next? More settlements in Golan Heights? It's not like it's gonna solve anything, just makes things worse... 🚧 3001 homes, can you imagine the environmental impact?! They should focus on actual security instead of trying to hold onto land... 🌎 Palestine is already facing so much hardship, we need to be supporting them more, not undermining their chances of statehood! 🙅‍♂️

🤔 This whole thing is a nightmare. I mean, come on 20 countries condemning it and all, but what's the point if Israel just keeps pushing forward? 🙄 They're basically saying "peace" is an afterthought now. And that settlement plan, E1 or whatever... it's like they're trying to carve out their own little piece of land and ignore everyone else. I need some facts on this, where did this tender go up exactly? Was there a public outcry in Israel at the time? And what about all these "experts" saying the UN court ruled that Israel's occupation is violating international law... can we get a link to that article or something? 📰 Just want to see the evidence before I start jumping on the bandwagon of outrage.

this is getting out of hand 🤯. i mean like they really think we care about their 'security' when it comes at the expense of someone else's humanity? it's all just a bunch of numbers and borders to them, but what about the people who live there? doesn't anyone see that this is just more proof that they don't actually want peace. newsflash: building more settlements won't make you safe or secure, it'll just drive away even more people and create more problems in the long run 🚧

it's not even like they're trying to be subtle about it anymore 🙄. they just went ahead with this plan without even bothering to pretend that it was a 'negotiation' or something. and now all these countries are condemning them, but what does that even mean? are we just going to sit back and do nothing while they keep doing whatever they want? because if so, then maybe we're the real problem here 🤔

i don't know about anyone else, but i'm just tired of hearing about 'facts on the ground' and 'irreversible changes'. who gets to decide what those things are? it's not like it's some kind of natural law or something. it's all just a bunch of humans making decisions that affect other humans. and honestly, most of us are just bystanders watching from our screens 📱. maybe we need to do better than that.

🚨 3,401 new homes in E1 settlement = 10% increase in West Bank population since 2020! 📈 That's like adding a whole city of people on top of an already fragile demographic situation. And don't even get me started on the timing - construction could start as early as next year! 🕰️ That's just 2 years and counting before this massive settlement is up and running, effectively carving the West Bank into two separate entities. 🗺️ Did you know that if we look at past settlements in E1, only 10% of the original population stayed? 🤯 What are the chances that Palestinians would be able to maintain their identity and way of life with this kind of demographic shift?! 😱

By the way, have you seen these stats on Israel's settlement expansion since 1967? 📊 Over 640,000 settlers now live in the West Bank! 🤯 That's like adding an entire city the size of LA to the region. It's time for the international community to take action and hold Israel accountable for its actions. 💪
