Teenager Arrested in String of Vape Store Robberies in Harris County

A 15-year-old boy is facing charges after allegedly robbing multiple Vape City vape stores across Harris County, Texas, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO). The teen was arrested on Tuesday, following a robbery at a store located on North Freeway.

Detectives from the HCSO Violent Crimes Unit claim that surveillance footage played a crucial role in identifying the suspect. Investigators also discovered a vehicle linked to several of the robberies at Vape City stores, which ultimately led to the teen's arrest during a traffic stop, with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Houston Police Department.

The teenager has been charged with aggravated robbery and is currently being held at the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
