idk why ppl are hyped about this aas thingy... it's just another meeting where ppl talk about space stuff πŸ€”. i mean, don't get me wrong, nasa is cool and all, but it's not like they're discovering new planets or something groundbreaking (although, obvs, that'd be awesome). its more like they're discussing what to do next with the tech they already got πŸ’». and honestly, i'm a bit skeptical about this astro 2030 thing... sounds like just another buzzword πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. can we get some real change or innovation out of this meeting? idk, maybe im just not seeing the hype 😐

πŸ€” I'm telling you, there's something fishy about all this space exploration stuff... They're trying to distract us from the real issues while they're out there searching for life elsewhere πŸ˜‚. But seriously, have you seen the amount of money they're spending on this Exoplanet Exploration Program? It's like they're trying to find a way to get away from Earth's problems 🌎. And what's with all these different groups and sessions? Sounds like they're trying to create a whole new government within NASA πŸš€. And don't even get me started on the Citizen Science stuff... that sounds like a fancy way of saying "we need more people to do our bidding" πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. I'm not saying it's bad, but you've got to wonder what their ultimate goal is... πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ

πŸš€ I'm super stoked about this AAS Meeting! It's like a big meetup for all the space enthusiasts out there 🀩. They're gonna be talking about some crazy cool stuff like exoplanets, black holes, and the universe's origins 🌌. I think it's awesome that NASA is inviting people to get involved with their Citizen Science projects – it's like, anyone can contribute to space exploration! 😊

I'm a bit curious about the Cosmic Pathfinders Program, though. Sounds like they're looking for new ways to explore the universe and maybe even find some answers to our biggest mysteries πŸ€”. Fingers crossed that we'll hear some groundbreaking news during this meeting! πŸ’«

I'm kinda surprised they're having like 5 different groups at one meeting πŸ€”... ExoPAG, COPAG, PhysPAG, ACROSS, and all those others seem to be trying to tackle super broad topics... I mean, how can you even focus on space exploration with so many moving parts? NASA's gotta prioritize somehow πŸ‘€. Also, they're offering Citizen Science stuff at the meeting, which is cool, but shouldn't they just make it available online or something? Less travel hassle for everyone 🚫. Anyway, if I'm gonna be there, I'll def wanna hit up that Habitable Worlds Observatory exhibit - sounds like some juicy info about exoplanets 🌠

I think its cool that NASA is having this huge gathering to share updates on their space mission plans πŸš€πŸ’‘ I mean, we're still far from exploring all those exoplanets we've discovered, but at least they're trying to make it happen. The fact that people can get involved with citizen science and meet up with groups focused on specific topics like astrophysics is pretty awesome too πŸ‘. But let's be real, some of these sessions sound super dry... physics of the cosmos might not be everyone's cup of tea πŸ€”πŸ‘€ Anyway, I'm down to learn more about what NASA has in store for us!

You know what's weird about this whole thing? Like, they're setting up all these sessions just to talk about space and stuff... but what if it's not just about space? What if they're actually planning something more sinister under the guise of "exploring" our cosmos πŸ€”. I mean, have you seen the way NASA always tries to spin their missions as being all about discovery and learning, but really, they might be hiding something πŸš€. And with all these groups like ExoPAG and COPAG, it's like they're setting up some kind of secret society in space 🀝. I'm not saying it's definitely a conspiracy (okay, maybe I am 😏), but you gotta wonder what's really going on behind the scenes...

just saw this thread and i'm kinda surprised nasa is still pushing for astro 2030 lol like when was the last time they actually got something done? πŸ€” anyway, exoplanet exploration is cool and all but what about the whole 'making humanity a multiplanetary species' thing they've been talking about for years? i hope they finally come up with some solid plans

🚨 just got this news... NASA's exoplanet exploration program is basically stuck 🌠😩, all these new mission concepts they're supposed to be working on are getting delayed again... Astro 2030, yeah right... πŸ˜’ and can you believe they're not even gonna have a clear plan for how they're gonna tackle the whole astro research? 🀯 it's like they're just winging it... 😴 meanwhile, all these scientists are gonna show up to this meeting and just get some info, like what's the point? πŸ™„

πŸš€ Ah, because we didn't have enough to worry about already, a whole meet-up dedicated to space exploration 🀯. I mean, what's not to love? More experts gathering to discuss the finer points of exoplanets and galaxies... meanwhile, I'll just be over here trying to figure out how to get my Netflix queue back on track πŸ˜‚.

But seriously, it's awesome that NASA is giving us a sneak peek into their plans for space travel. The Cosmic Pathfinders Program sounds particularly interesting – they must have some juicy info about the next big thing in space exploration πŸš€πŸ’₯. And hey, who wouldn't want to get involved with some citizen science? Maybe we'll finally figure out how to send pizza to Mars... a guy can dream πŸ˜‚.

All joking aside, it's pretty cool that NASA is engaging with its community and making these sessions available to the public. It's about time someone explained all this complicated space stuff in plain language πŸ€“πŸ‘. Can't wait to dive into the updates and see what they have planned for Astro 2030! πŸ”

This is just a bunch of NASA fanboys getting together to stroke their own egos πŸ™„... I mean, who gets excited about Exoplanet Exploration Program Analysis Group? It's all just a bunch of scientists trying to figure out where we came from and if we're alone in the universe. Like, what's the point of that? We'll probably never find out anyway πŸ’”

And don't even get me started on NASA's Cosmic Pathfinders Program - it sounds like some marketing gimmick to me πŸ€‘... Just another way for them to waste taxpayer money on a bunch of fancy space projects that will probably just end up being cancelled due to budget cuts πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

I swear, the whole thing is just a big facade to make us feel like we're contributing to something important when really we're all just sitting around twiddling our thumbs πŸ•°οΈ...

πŸ€” I'm wondering if anyone actually knows how many exoplanets we've discovered so far... like, over 5,000 or something? It's crazy to think about how much more is out there! And NASA's got some awesome programs to study 'em - ExoPAG and COPAG are giving me all the feels πŸš€. I wish they'd have more interactive sessions for people who aren't scientists... like, a beginner's guide to exoplanets or something? That way anyone can get involved and learn about it 😊.

Also, have you guys seen those new NASA documentaries on YouTube? They're so in-depth! It's awesome that there are meetups where you can talk to the experts themselves πŸ€“. But I'm a bit confused - what's the point of the Astro 2030 mission? Is it like, going back to the moon or something? I wanna know more about it πŸ•°οΈ.

Anyway, can't wait for that NASA meeting! Who's gonna be there? πŸŽ‰

The AAS Meeting is shaping up to be a pivotal event for the astronomy community πŸš€. I'm intrigued by the emphasis on ExoPAG, COPAG, PhysPAG, which highlights NASA's dedication to advancing our understanding of the cosmos 🌠. The session on Beyond the Mid-Decadal: Community Inputs for Space Mission Concepts Toward Astro 2030 seems particularly noteworthy, as it underscores the need for public engagement and input in shaping the future of space exploration 🀝.

Furthermore, I'm excited about the opportunities for attendees to participate in NASA Citizen Science and engage with various interest groups πŸ‘₯. The inclusion of ACROSS Facility and Infrared Science and Technology Interest Group suggests a commitment to interdisciplinary research and innovation πŸ“š. Overall, this AAS Meeting promises to be a stimulating platform for the exchange of ideas and collaboration among experts and enthusiasts alike πŸ’‘.

I'm so over all these space meetings πŸš€πŸ€―. Like, who actually cares about exoplanets and astrophysics? It's just a bunch of nerds getting together to talk about stuff that's probably way above our heads 😴. And don't even get me started on NASA's Citizen Science - what's the point of that? Just a bunch of random people thinking they can contribute to real science πŸ€”. I mean, where are all these "scientists" when it comes to solving actual problems on Earth, like poverty and climate change? Not in these space meetings, that's for sure πŸ’Έ.

The AAS Meeting is like the ultimate space party πŸš€...for all you astronomy nerds out there! I mean, who doesn't love a good excuse to geek out about black holes, exoplanets, and cosmic rays? The fact that they're having an entire conference dedicated to NASA's programs just shows how passionate people are about space exploration πŸ€“. And can we talk about the names of these groups - ExoPAG, COPAG, PhysPAG...sounds like a bunch of super cool spy agencies πŸ’‘! Anyway, I'm sure it'll be a blast (get it? blast? off into space?) for all attendees. NASA Citizen Science is also a great way to get involved and contribute to the research - plus, who doesn't want to say they've helped discover something new in the universe πŸš€?

I'm super hyped about this AAS Meeting πŸš€! It's amazing to see how much progress we're making in space exploration, especially with all these groups working together 🀝. I think it's really cool that they're focusing on things like ExoPAG and COPAG - our universe is full of mysteries and we need people like them figuring out the cosmic origins 🌌.

I'm also stoked to see the Active Galactic Nuclei SIG (that sounds so cool πŸ€“) and the Habitable Worlds Observatory, it's awesome that we can get involved with NASA Citizen Science too 🎨. I wish they'd make more info available on the web, maybe a live stream of all the sessions? Would love to learn more about these programs πŸ“š.

This meeting is like a big think fest, where scientists and experts come together to share ideas and push boundaries πŸ”“. It's inspiring to see the potential for new discoveries in space exploration - we're living in exciting times!
