A massive blaze engulfed a Hollywood apartment building Wednesday morning, leaving residents shaken but fortunately no one injured.

The inferno was sparked by an A/C unit on fire at the 2700 block of Johnson Street, with flames rapidly spreading throughout the structure. The swift response from the Hollywood Fire Rescue units prevented the situation from spiraling out of control.

Despite the effective firefighting efforts, one firefighter sustained injuries unrelated to the blaze and was hospitalized as a precautionary measure.

Fortunately for the occupants, no casualties were reported in the devastating incident.

Just can't believe what's happening with all these wildfires lately! First it's LA and now Hollywood gets hit too? I mean, I know we're in a dry spell and all but come on! A/C unit catching fire is just crazy talk How do you even prevent that from happening in the first place?! Guess that's what happens when we don't take care of our stuff properly On a brighter note, super glad no one was hurt, though... that could've been a whole lot worse . Man, just think about it... if the A/C unit wasn't on fire, who knows what could've happened? The whole building could've gone up in flames like that . And can you imagine if a resident was home when it started? It's crazy how fast those fires spread and how lucky we are that nobody got hurt . I'm glad the firefighters were on top of it, though - they're the real heroes here . But it just makes me think about all the what-ifs in life... like, what if you're not paying attention when you're using your AC, and suddenly your whole apartment is up in smoke? Just a weird thought to have after something like this happens .

can you even imagine waking up to your entire world burning down?! i mean i know we have these crazy wildfires out here but like a whole building just going up in flames is somethin else it's terrifying thinkin about all those people runnin around in the middle of the night, not knowin what's happenin. and then to hear that no one was hurt... it's just a miracle i guess.

i feel so bad for the firefighters tho, they're puttin their lives on the line every single day and we should be thankin them more often . but at least they were able to get there in time and prevent it from spreadin out of control. that's all any of us can really ask for, right?

Just saw that massive fire in Hollywood apartment building... can't believe how fast those flames spread! Thankfully, I heard it was just an A/C unit that started the fire, not some crazy arson job . Still, you'd think they'd have better safety measures in place to prevent something like this from happening in the first place.

I'm so glad everyone got out safely , but still... what if things had gone differently? I was thinking about my parents, who lived in an apartment complex not that far away when I was a kid. They always told me to never get too comfortable, you know? Be prepared for the unexpected. And now it's a reality for so many people.

The firefighters were amazing, of course! It's crazy how they can go from zero to hero in seconds. Anyway, just sending love to all those affected by this fire .

Just had to check on what's happening with that Hollywood fire . I mean, can you imagine waking up in the middle of the night and hearing flames outside your window? Crazy . Thankfully the firefighters were able to put it out fast enough without anyone getting hurt. It's always a good feeling when first responders are able to do their job so quickly and efficiently . But, like, how does an A/C unit even catch fire in the first place? . Anyway, glad everyone is safe and sound. Fingers crossed the firefighter recovers from those injuries soon . It's always a good reminder that even with all the precautions, accidents can still happen.

like seriously what's next gonna burn down LA already? A/C unit catching fire and burning down an entire building it's just too much... and they say someone has to pay for these crazy apartments lol... I'm sure the building owner is just sitting pretty with their insurance money meanwhile, our firefighters are literally risking their lives every day at least one person was taken to the hospital as a precaution though, that's a little better

.. I'm still trying to process this what happened at that Hollywood apartment building. Can you even believe how lucky everyone was?! I mean, think about it - those poor people could've been trapped inside with nothing but smoke and flames for who knows how long... thank goodness the firefighters showed up ASAP . It's just crazy to think about how quickly things can go from calm to chaos in an instant.

And that firefighter who got hurt ? You'd think it's a tragedy, but I guess it's better than losing someone during that blaze. Still, I'm just shook out of my wits thinking about the whole thing... what if those flames had spread even more?! It gives you chills to think about.

I'm just glad that no one got hurt, you know? It's crazy how fast those flames spread, but I guess it's also great that the fire rescue team was on the scene so quickly to put out the fire before it got out of control. One firefighter did get injured, though, which is definitely a concern. Hopefully they're gonna be okay. It's just really sad when these things happen, especially in places where people are trying to live their lives without any drama. Maybe they'll have to do some renovations on the building now, who knows?

Just got wind of that crazy fire in Hollywood and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it ! Like, can you even believe an AC unit just decides to go up in flames? I mean, I know we're talking about LA here where the heat can be pretty intense, but still... it's just one of those things that makes me want to upgrade to a smart home system ASAP . Oh man... that's crazy! I can only imagine how scary it must have been for those residents waking up to flames everywhere. I'm just glad everyone got out safely - no one should ever go through that trauma. You'd think you've seen it all with movies and TV shows, but this is real life... it's so heartbreaking.

just saw this news about that Hollywood apartment building fire and I'm so relieved no one got hurt . I can imagine how terrifying it must've been to wake up to flames licking at their doors . thankfully, those firefighters were on the scene super fast and managed to put out the fire before it spread too much.
