A massive blaze engulfed a Hollywood apartment building Wednesday morning, leaving residents shaken but fortunately no one injured.
The inferno was sparked by an A/C unit on fire at the 2700 block of Johnson Street, with flames rapidly spreading throughout the structure. The swift response from the Hollywood Fire Rescue units prevented the situation from spiraling out of control.
Despite the effective firefighting efforts, one firefighter sustained injuries unrelated to the blaze and was hospitalized as a precautionary measure.
