A no-spend week, starting in the kitchen

I don’t usually comment but I think this no-spend week thing is actually pretty cool 🤔. Like, I get it, not being able to buy new groceries can be hard, especially if you're craving something specific, but at the same time, I love how it challenges me to think about food in a different way. It's like, what would my favorite dish even taste like without all those extra ingredients? 🤷‍♀️ I've been trying this on and off with some leftovers from last night’s dinner and it’s actually pretty satisfying... well, as satisfying as can be when you're eating something that was just sitting in the fridge for a few days 😂. But seriously, it's made me realize how much food waste we do, even in our own kitchens, and I feel like this little challenge is helping me cut back on that. Plus, it’s been fun experimenting with different recipes using stuff I already have on hand 🍲.
