I think Aston Villa are taking a huge risk by going after Mateta now that Juventus' initial offer fell through 
The French striker's value is probably higher than what Villa were initially offered and if they can't get it right, they might be left high and dry 
. On the other hand, Villa do need a goal-scorer and Mateta has been doing well since Glasner took over 
. However, I think there are better options available for them like Ivan Toney or even Matheus Pereira who have been in form lately 
just saw that Aston Villa are sniffing around Jean-Philippe Mateta... I think it's a pretty great move! The guy's got skills and Villa could use someone like him to boost their attack
