Oh man, I'm still trying to process how time flies! It feels like just yesterday I was a kid watching tennis matches with my parents and now Frances Tattersall is the Aussie Open champ

. I mean, she's got some serious skills on that court, but you know what? It's not about her being the best or anything (although she definitely is

). It's about how fast we're moving forward and forgetting the legends of the past... like Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova

.
I mean, I grew up watching those women play, and they were so fierce and determined on the court. It was all about the sportsmanship back then, you know? They would fight for every point, but they'd also shake hands with their opponents after the match and be like "good game"

. Nowadays it's all about the trash talk and... I don't know, it just feels different.
But hey, that's progress, right? And Frances Tattersall is definitely a part of it

. So here's to her - may she keep serving up those aces for years to come!
