Bay Area Jewish community hears from 2 survivors of Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel

I'm literally shaking just thinking about what these 2 ppl went thru 🤕💔. I mean, being held captive for half a year without any contact with loved ones is already unimaginable, but to be thrown grenades into the bomb shelter... 😱 it's just crazy. I think it's so important that they're sharing their story not just with other Jewish people, but with everyone in general. We need to remember what's happening in Israel and show support for those who are suffering 💕. It's heartbreaking but also inspiring to see how Ziv found a way to fight for Eliya's release 🤩.

🤯 I mean, can you even imagine being held captive for over half a year? It's like something out of a horror movie 🎬. But what really gets me is how they stuck together as a couple despite not having any contact with each other during that time. That's some serious love right there 💕. It's amazing to see their story, it's like you're right there in the bomb shelter with them 😱.

I think we need more people like Eliya and Ziv sharing their stories so everyone can understand what they went through. It's not just about the Jewish community, but also about the impact of these attacks on everyday people who aren't even directly affected by it 🤝. I mean, what would you do if you were in their shoes? Would you be able to hold on to hope like they did? 🤔

Anyway, I'm glad we could get together and hear their story, it's definitely given me a lot to think about 😊. It's crazy how these events can bring people together, but also leave such deep scars 💔.

I'm still in shock thinking about those two people who were held captive for over 5 months 🤯! It's heartbreaking to imagine what they went through being thrown grenades into their shelter... how scary must that have been 😨. I think it's amazing that Eliya and Ziv found strength within themselves, especially Ziv fighting tirelessly for her boyfriend's release 💪. We should all be grateful that they made it out alive and were able to reconnect 🌈. It's a powerful reminder of the impact conflict has on ordinary people and how crucial it is to remember these stories so we can learn from them 📚. The fact that Americans like Greg Hutchinson are speaking up in support shows we still have a good heart, you know? ❤️
