Breeze Airways adds service out of Atlantic City International Airport

Breeze Airways Set to Take Flight from Atlantic City International Airport in May

Low-cost carrier Breeze Airways is making waves by announcing its inaugural service out of Atlantic City International Airport later this month. This development marks a significant expansion for the small airport in South Jersey, which will now offer year-round flights to three new destinations.

Starting May 6, non-stop flights to Charleston, South Carolina, and Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina will become available from Atlantic City. Subsequent week, Breeze will introduce its highly anticipated service connecting Tampa, Florida, with one stop in another city – marking the arrival of its BreezeThru route.

The expansion is set to bring travelers from southern New Jersey and Philadelphia more convenient access to popular destinations, whether for business or leisure purposes. According to Stephen F. Dougherty, executive director of the South Jersey Transportation Authority, this new development "directly benefits our passengers" by providing them with more options and increased connectivity.

Breeze Airways will be joining an exclusive club alongside Spirit Airlines and Allegiant Air as the only carriers operating out of Atlantic City International Airport. With its impressive growth over the past few years, Breeze has already established a presence at 80 airports across North America and beyond, including international destinations like Cancun and the Bahamas.

The airline's CEO, David Neeleman, sees the potential for Atlantic City to become an attractive gateway to various metropolitan areas. To celebrate its new service, Breeze is offering introductory one-way fares starting at $49 for flights to Charleston and $39 for those traveling to Raleigh-Durham.

With Spirit Airlines' reduced operations and Allegiant Air's recent expansion plans, it seems like Atlantic City International Airport is emerging as a significant player in the region's air travel landscape.

OMG just heard that Breeze Airways is taking off from AC airport 🚀🛫️ I'm so stoked for the new routes, Charleston and Raleigh-Durham are literally my fave spots! Anyone else excited about this? 😆 The prices sound too good to be true, $49 one-way to Charleston? 💸 That's a steal! 🤑

omg can u believe breeze Airways is taking over atlantic city international airport?! i was thinking of taking a spring break trip with my friends to charleston and now it's literally within driving distance from atlantic city 🗺️! and the fact that they're offering one-way fares as low as $49 is insane 💸. i'm sure this is gonna make travel so much more convenient for ppl in southern nj and philly 🚀. have u guys been to atlantic city airport before? 🤔

OMG u guys!!! 🤩 Atlantic City International Airport just got so much better! I mean, think about it, $49 one-way flights to Charleston and Raleigh-Durham?! That's crazy cheap! 😱 I'm def flying out there on Breeze Airways ASAP! They're really expanding their routes now, like, 80 airports across North America?! That's wild 🤯. And with Spirit Airlines and Allegiant Air already operating there, it's like a travel hub or something! 🚀

I'm not sure I get this new low-cost thingamajig... back in my day, we had airlines that actually cared about customer service 😐. Now they're just trying to squeeze every last penny out of us. $49 for a one-way ticket? That's highway robbery! 🚗 I remember flying with Pan Am and it was always an experience, not some rushed-through affair. And what's with these BreezeThru routes? One stop this, one stop that... can't they just get us to our destination already?! ⏰

I'm not sure about this new development yet... I mean, on one hand, it's awesome that Breeze Airways is expanding its services to Atlantic City and giving more people access to some great destinations 🤔🚀. But at the same time, with Spirit Airlines reducing their operations here and Allegiant Air joining the party, I'm worried that we might see a flood of new flights without a corresponding increase in airport infrastructure 😬.

I guess what really gets me is that they're offering these super-low fares to celebrate the launch – $49 for one-way to Charleston? That sounds like a deal too good to be true... will it actually stick or just a marketing gimmick? 🤑
