. they're basically giving up top prospects that could be game-changers in a few years for a guy who's gonna have to replace jorge polanco anyway 
. i get it, donovan is a solid player and all, but three of these young guys are worth more than him? i just don't see it

like we r still in january and ppl are already thinking about trading away their players lol but seriously Brendan Donovan is a beast on defense and the mariners need an infielder after polanco left so maybe it makes sense for them to make a move? but u gotta feel bad for the cards if theyre trying to get 3 top prospects in return its like way too much 
. I mean, Brendan Donovan is an awesome player and all, but those three prospects the Mariners are throwing in as a "reward" seem like a huge ask
