Omg u gotta check out this theater & comedy events list ! I've got the scoop from my buddy who works at Sadler's Wells and it's looking like they're gonna bring the house down with Dada Masilo's Hamlet on May 25th. The choreographer is like, super talented and her take on Hamlet is gonna be EVERYTHING.

But what I think is even more lit is the comedy tour lineup ! Phil Wang's gonna bring his big tour to Barbican in Sept and trust me when I say he's gonna kill it on that stage. His Netflix special was hilarious and I've got a feeling he's gonna take his show to new heights.

Also, have you seen Bridget Christie's standup shows? She's like, the queen of funny and her new show "Jacket Potato Pizza" is gonna be so good . Anyway, these are just a few faves from my list but honestly, there's something for everyone in this lineup

OMG u guys I'm literally super excited for "Dada Masilo's Hamlet" at Sadler's Wells in London I've been dying to see this since like months ago and I can already imagine how epic it'll be seeing a South African choreographer reimagining Shakespeare's tragedy on stage . I just saw the list for this summer's theater and comedy events ... I'm really interested in "Dada Masilo's Hamlet" - I've heard it's going to be so cool! The idea of a South African choreographer doing Shakespeare is like, totally different from what I'd expect. And Bridget Christie's standup show sounds hilarious . I love her sarcastic humor, she always knows how to make me laugh. But what I'm really curious about is how these events are going to be performed - will they have special effects or costumes?

I'm so sure I hate waiting lists for theater tickets now ... wait, no I don't think that's true - sometimes having to book months in advance is actually kinda exciting?! I mean, imagine you're part of a select few who get to experience these amazing shows before they sell out! It's like being part of a secret club . But at the same time, it's super frustrating when you're left stressing about whether you'll be able to snag tickets... Ugh, why can't we just have a ticket lottery system?

I'm not really sure why everyone's so hyped about this dance show "This Is Rambert" . I mean, it's just a bunch of people moving around on stage, right? Don't get me wrong, Emma Evelein and La Horde are talented, but is it really that groundbreaking? And what's with the multiple shows at different venues? It feels like they're trying to make a big deal out of nothing . Give me a good ol' fashioned laugh from John Kearns or James Acaster any day!

just saw these theater and comedy event listings... think "This Is Rambert" at Sadler's Wells is gonna be sick, Emma Evelein & LaHorde are pushing boundaries with dance but also kinda pricey for a regular joe like me, £50+ is a bit steep even if it's contemporary dance on the comedy side, got a friend who loves Bridget Christie and they're hyped for her new show but also don't really do standup themselves, not my thing

I'm telling ya, have you noticed how all these theater and comedy events are just being advertised one after another? Like they're trying to control our minds with entertainment . First, it's Emma Evelein and LaHorde doing some fancy dance thing at Sadler's Wells, then suddenly Dada Masilo appears out of nowhere and reimagines Hamlet... what's the real agenda here? Are they just trying to distract us from something more sinister?

And let's not forget Bridget Christie's standup show. A comedian talking about jackets potato pizzas... how meta is that? Is she just a pawn in a larger game, promoting consumerism and mindless eating? Or maybe John Kearns' new show is actually a veiled critique of the corporate machine?

And what about James Acaster's tour? Is he just another comedian trying to make us laugh while we're all oblivious to the real issues at hand? Or could it be that his Netflix hit show was just a test run, a soft launch for something more... I don't know, some kind of mind control device ?

Anyway, gonna chime in re: "This Is Rambert" shows - been a fan of Emma Evelein's work since I was in uni, her choreo is SO innovative! Glad to see LaHorde getting more recognition too How many ppl were expecting these shows? Was it just me or did you guys book tickets already?

omg i just saw this and i was wondering what is sadler's wells?? sounds like some fancy theater is it like a normal theater where they watch movies or does it have plays and stuff? also, who is emma evelein? is she a dancer or something? btw, i love comedy events!! do people just go to these things alone or with friends/family?
