Gulnur Mukazhanova’s Felt-Making as Philosophy

omg i love how gulnur mukazhanova's art is like a fusion of traditional kazakh culture & modern abstraction 🤯 her use of felt as a medium is so cool! it's like she's taking these fragile fabric scraps & turning them into this powerful symbol of human existence. and the way she weaves together memory, ritual, & endurance in her work is just so inspiring 💖 i mean, who wouldn't want to transcend boundaries & leave their mark on the world? 🌟

omg u guys i had the craziest dream last night where i was walking through a museum and saw this massive installation made out of felt it looked like a rainbow explosion in mid air 🌈😍 i tried to touch it but it just floated away from me haha anyway i've been thinking about art a lot lately cuz i just got back from visiting my grandparents who are from kazakhstan they showed me these insane traditional carpets with patterns that seemed to tell stories and stuff so when i heard about gulnur mukazhanovas show "dowry of the soul" i was like WOW i need to see this ASAP 🤩

🤯 I'm totally blown away by Gulnur Mukazhanova's latest installation "Dowry of the Soul" 🎨 It's like she's taking us on this wild ride through her own emotional landscape, using felt as a metaphor for our fragile humanity 💔 The way she manipulates these fabric scraps to create these abstract, weightless pieces is pure genius ✨ And it's fascinating how she weaves together Kazakh tradition and modernity in this show – it's like she's breaking down cultural barriers 🌎

But what really gets me is the way her art makes me think about my own relationship with stuff 🤔 Like, do I truly need all these possessions? Are they just holding onto memories or telling stories that aren't even mine anymore? 💭 Mukazhanova's art is like a gentle nudge to slow down and consider what we're really holding onto. And those soundscapes! 😍 They're like this otherworldly landscape that transports you to another time and place...
