Jueza federal permitirá a Marimar Martínez publicar mensajes de texto enviados por el agente que le disparó

Federal Judge Allows Marimar Martínez to Share Texts from Agent Who Shot Her

A federal judge has allowed Marimar Martínez, a 23-year-old resident of Chicago who was shot by a US Border Patrol agent last October, to release the text messages she received from her shooter.

Martínez had been charged with assaulting an agent after allegedly confronting one on the street. However, her case was dismissed in November and she is now being allowed to make public her communications with the shooter.

According to her lawyers, Martínez will share some of the texts at a hearing later this month, where she may be able to force the government to drop its claims that she is a "domestic terrorist".

Martinez was shot by US Border Patrol agent Charles Exum in October 2019.

I just saw the cutest video of a sloth taking a nap 🐻😴 on YouTube and I swear, it's so calming to watch. The way it just hangs there, not even blinking... anyway, back to this news thingy. I mean, can you believe that Marimar Martínez is allowed to share those texts? It's like, what even was the point of trying to silence her in the first place? 🤔 And now she gets to expose all these shady details about the agent who shot her... I'm literally just thinking about how good a cup of coffee is right now ☕️. Has anyone tried that new coffee shop downtown?

🤔 So I'm thinking... this is like a whole big deal right? A federal judge is basically saying okay, you can share the texts now Marimar Martínez. It's kinda crazy that she was being charged with assaulting an agent just because she confronted one on the street, and now it sounds like the government might have been trying to paint her as some kind of terrorist. 🚫 I don't think that's fair at all. It's wild that we're having this conversation where a person is sharing private texts between them and their shooter in court. 👀 What are your thoughts on this whole situation?

🤔 what's up with the gov't allowing her to share those texts tho? seems like they're trying to keep some info under wraps about this whole incident... i mean, if she was really just minding her own biz and the agent just happened to shoot her, why should we care about his messages to her? 🤷‍♂️

so there's this lady Marimar Martínez who gets shot by a border patrol agent and now she wants to share some texts with the public... i guess that's what they mean by 'free speech' 🤷‍♀️, right? so basically, she's saying 'hey, i'm not a domestic terrorist, look at these texts and decide for yourself'. it's like, can't say much about her being cleared of all charges if she can just release some private texts that maybe aren't as incriminating as everyone thinks. this guy Exum is still working at border patrol... wonder how many more lives he's gonna mess up 🤦‍♂️

I don’t usually comment but I think it’s pretty crazy that Marimar Martínez is getting to share these texts from her shooter 🤯. Like, I get that she was trying to stand up for herself and all, but sharing this stuff could be super personal and emotional for everyone involved, especially the agent who shot her 💔. It's a big deal that the judge has allowed her to release them though - it shows that she's fighting for her rights and trying to get some answers 🤝. But at the same time, I'm a bit worried about how this is all going to play out in public... like, are we really ready for these texts? 😬

🤯 Can you believe what's going down here? So basically, this girl gets shot by a border patrol agent and now the gov is trying to say she's some kind of domestic terrorist just 'cause she spoke up about it... that's wild 🚨. But hey, I guess if we're gonna talk about police brutality and accountability, then we gotta have these kinds of conversations 💬. It's like, what are they even hiding? If Marimar is trying to share her texts with the world, maybe it'll be a good thing for everyone involved 😊. Maybe we can learn something from this situation and get some real change happening 🔓.

🚨👀 just heard about Marimar Martínez getting to release those texts from her shooter 🤯 it's wild how these cases can go on for so long and how some people get away with stuff... I mean, I know she was shot by an agent who allegedly broke the rules but still, it's kinda messed up that she's gotta go through this. And now she might be able to take down the gov't's case against her? 🤷‍♀️ either way, it's gonna be interesting to see how this plays out 💸

.. this just makes me wanna go back to when we had more transparency in our justice system, you know? Like, remember when OJ Simpson's trial was all over the news and everyone was like "justice is being served"? This case feels kinda similar, but instead of a celebrity, it's some young girl who got shot by a border agent. I mean, what were they even thinking? The fact that she's gotta share these texts just makes me think about how much we used to know about the people in power back in my grandma's day... like, who were their friends, what did they do on the weekends? It's all just so mysterious and old-school now.

🤔 I gotta say, this whole situation is kinda wild. Like, I get why Marimar Martínez wants to share those texts - it's her right as a citizen, you know? And I'm not saying the government doesn't have a point, but they're trying to paint her as some kinda terrorist? Come on, that's just not fair.

I mean, think about it - if the tables were turned and she was talking to an agent who shot her, would we want those texts made public too? I don't think so. But at the same time, Martínez has every right to know what went down that day. It's all about transparency and accountability.

I'm just hoping this whole thing gets sorted out without anyone getting hurt... or worse, having their reputation tarnished. 🤕

🤔 "The truth will set you free, but not before it makes you miserable." It's just crazy how this whole thing went down! I mean, who gets shot by a border patrol agent and then has to deal with the government trying to spin their story? It's all so messed up. And now Marimar is getting to share those texts, which could be super revealing... it'll be interesting to see what comes out of that hearing 💥

i mean, can u imagine if we had more like this? like, transparency and everything? 🤔 anyway, have you seen those new sneakers that everyone's talking about? they're so hyped... i just saw a vid of someone breaking them in and it was crazy! 😂 what do u guys think about sneakers?

🤔 just thinkin about this... so martinez gets to share these texts with the public, and i'm curious why it took her lawyers so long to get them released. what were they hiding? 🤷‍♀️ anyway, i hope this all comes out in a way that exposes some truth about what really went down. as for the whole domestic terrorist label... sounds like a pretty serious accusation to me 😬

I don't get why we gotta keep sharing all these crazy case details on here 🤯. It's like, I know some of you are just here for the gossip, but can't we focus on something else for once? Like, have you guys seen the new Discord servers? They're so much more organized and user-friendly compared to our humble forum 😒. Anyway, back to this case... I mean, I guess it's kinda interesting that Martínez is getting to share those texts from her shooter. It raises all these questions about what really went down and whether the agent was justified in using force 💔. But at the same time, isn't sharing sensitive info like that gonna be super problematic? 🤷‍♂️ I don't know, just seems like a lot of drama to me...

I think it's wild that Marimar Martínez got her hands on those texts 🤯. I mean, I'm not saying the government didn't have reasons to investigate, but it seems like they were just trying to pin something on her without looking at all the facts. It's kinda shady that she was charged in the first place. Now that she's sharing those texts, though, maybe we'll finally get some truth about what really went down 🤔.

🤔 This whole situation is really puzzling... I mean, you've got this young woman who gets shot by a border patrol agent and now she's fighting for the right to share her communication with the guy who pulled the trigger. It's like, if she was just some crazy person, why should we care about what she said? But at the same time, she did get shot and she has a right to know what happened. The fact that she's being accused of being a "domestic terrorist" is super concerning... I don't think we should be labeling someone based on one conversation they had with an agent. It's like, can't we just try to understand each other? 🤷‍♀️

I don't trust this at all 🤔... If Marimar Martínez can just dump all these texts out there, it's gonna make her look like some kinda drama queen or something. "Oh no, my shooter is a bad guy!" Boo hoo. What's next? Her gonna release a whole playlist of tears and heartbreak songs? 🎶 It's just another way to try and spin this whole thing in her favor. And what about the shooter's side of the story? They're probably still hurting from that shooting... why does she get all the attention here? This is just gonna be some PR stunt to make her look like a victim, not a responsible citizen 🙄.
