Liam Rosenior to talk to Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi about Chelsea exile

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior is set to speak with Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi, the club's two most expensive signings of 2023. The move comes after the pair were left in limbo as part of Chelsea's 'bomb squad' under their predecessor Enzo Maresca. Rosenior has pledged to have conversations with both players, who joined the club for £47.5m and £38.5m respectively.

Sterling, a former Manchester City player, is attracting interest from Napoli, while Roma and Lyon are rumored to be considering moves for Disasi. However, Chelsea's current transfer situation means that Rosenior will have to navigate complex rules about loan deals and overseas players.

Chelsea's new manager has promised to work closely with the club's hierarchy to assess the most important players on the squad. He believes that sometimes the answers lie within the building rather than outside, and plans to make decisions based on his own assessments of the team's needs.

While Rosenior is focused on speaking with Sterling and Disasi in the short term, Chelsea are expected to make more significant signings in the summer when their preferred targets become available. A high-quality attacker is top of the list for priorities, as well as a centre-back and other midfield options.

The club has lined up several players for next season, including Sporting winger Geovany Quenda and Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha. However, with substantial restrictions from Uefa in January to maintain a positive transfer balance, Chelsea will have to carefully navigate their transfer business to avoid any further complications.

Overall, Rosenior's arrival at Chelsea marks an important turning point for the club, as they look to navigate the complexities of the transfer market and build on their recent successes.

omg u guys I'm tellin u something is up with chelsea manager liam rosencier he's already talkin to sthrester and disasi like 2 days after he got the job lol what's goin on here? first it was enzo maresca's "bomb squad" now rosencier's focusin on those two... maybe there's more 2 them than meets the eye 🤔💭 or maybe chelsea is just tryna make a statement by keepin these players in limbo 🔄

anyway, I heard disasi might be goin 2 roma lol what's da plan here? are they just tryna get rid of him or somethin? 😂 and sthrester's still attracted 2 nappi... Chelsea better come correct or he'll be gone in a heartbeat 🔥

I think Rosenior is making a good move by talking to Sterling and Disasi ASAP 🤝, gotta sort out those egos before they take off in the summer. I mean, what if Chelsea can't afford those big names? They need to be smart about who they sign next season, not just splurge on anyone who wants to come in ⚽️. And what's with all this fuss over loan deals and overseas players? It's like, come on, let the manager do his job 😅. I'm still rooting for Sterling though, he's a legend 🙌

omg i'm so excited about liam rosenior taking over at chelsea!!! 🤩 he seems like a really down-to-earth guy who actually cares about his players & wants to make sure everyone is happy & healthy 🌟💖 can't wait to see what he does with the squad, especially with raheem sterling & axel disasi 💬👫

aww man i feel ya... chelsea's had a tough time lately & it sounds like liam rosenior is trying his best to bring some stability to the squad 🤗💕 gotta be hard to deal with all those expectations & pressure from the fans, but he seems pretty down-to-earth & focused on getting things right. i hope sterling & disasi feel heard & understood - they're gonna be crucial to chelsea's success this season 🙏⚽️ fingers crossed everything works out for them & the team 👍

I'm not sure what's up with these massive signings, £47.5m and £38.5m is crazy 💸! I mean, I get it, Chelsea's got a lot of history and all that, but at some point you gotta think about the team's needs rather than just throwing money at players 🤔. Rosenior seems like a decent coach though, he knows what he's doing... or so I've seen 😊. And I'm curious to see how he'll navigate all these loan deals and overseas players stuff 📝. Chelsea's always been about the squad depth, so fingers crossed they can get it right this time 👍

Ugh, can't believe Rosenior is having to deal with all this drama 🤯... like, I get it, signings come with expectations, but £47.5m and £38.5m? That's a lot of cash 💸. And now they're saying he'll have conversations with Sterling and Disasi, but what about the loan deals and overseas players? It's like, can't Chelsea just figure this stuff out without involving their manager 🤔... summer signings are gonna be super important, fingers crossed they get that high-quality attacker ⚽️. And Quenda and Emegha are cool I guess, not my cup of tea but hey, might as well try right? 🤷‍♂️

idk how long they'll hold onto sterling tho 🤔💬 if napoli is sniffing around he might wanna consider leaving ASAP. Disasi is a bit of a mystery, i mean we dont know much about him atm. but at least with rosenior talking to them it shows the new manager is trying to sort things out 💡 maybe they'll be able to get some big signings in this summer 🤞
