Manchester United beat Arsenal … has the wobble begun? – Football Weekly

Manchester United's 3-2 win at Arsenal has raised eyebrows about the team's mental toughness. The Gunners, who were aiming for a record-breaking unbeaten run, saw their home form crumble under the pressure of Manchester United's swift start.

Michael Carrick's dream start as interim manager continued as his side dominated the match from start to finish. But what was particularly striking was the absence of goals from Arsenal's attacking line. The panel has long questioned how a team without a goal-scorer is able to get by for so long, and today's loss only heightens that concern.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth earned another big win at the bottom of the table, while Thomas Frank can breathe a sigh of relief after his side drew 2-2 away at Burnley. However, Crystal Palace's struggles continue, as they succumbed to yet another defeat.

West Ham and Nottingham Forest also enjoyed victories over their relegation rivals, but it remains to be seen if these wins will be enough to turn the tables on their season.

As for Manchester United, one thing is certain: Michael Carrick needs to find a way to unlock Arsenal's defense, lest his side continue to struggle with scoring goals from open play. Will they be able to get back on track soon?

I don’t usually comment but... I think it’s crazy how much pressure is on those top teams right now. Like, Manchester United just beat Arsenal 3-2 and people are already wondering if Carrick can score goals from open play 🤯. And for Arsenal, they have this whole thing with not having a goal-scorer and yet they still manage to get by. It’s like they're playing some kind of weird chess game or something 💡.

And I don’t know about the rest of the teams but it seems like a lot of games are ending in draws lately. Like, Bournemouth and Burnley went 2-2? That's not even normal 😅. And for Palace to lose again... it’s like they just can't catch a break. Anyway, I guess we'll just have to wait and see how things play out 🤔

Omg, I'm seriously worried about Arsenal right now 🤯! 3-2 at home is a huge loss and I think it's time for them to sort out their attacking line ASAP 💔. They just can't seem to score from open play and it's like they're stuck in neutral ⚡️. Carrick needs to get creative with his tactics or else Manchester United might be stuck in the same goal-scoring rut 🔄. I'm rooting for them, but I don't know how long they can keep this up 😬

🤔 so carrick's got 3 wins under his belt and people are questioning how he's doing it? 😏 the gaffer needs to focus on unlocking those defenses, like u said, otherwise man u will continue to struggle 📉 and yeah, arsenal's attack is a major concern... no goals from them? that's not a winning formula ⚽

OMG 🤯 I think Man Utd got really lucky today lol. Like, 3-2 is def a fluke result if u ask me. They just kinda... showed up and dominated, idk what else to say 🙃. And yeah, that's so sus about Arsenal's attacking line not scoring a single goal 🤔. I mean, how r they even supposed to win if they cant score? Carrick needs 2 get his squad firing on all cylinders ASAP or we'll be seeing more losses like dis 😬

The drama at Old Trafford was intense last night 🤯! I'm still trying to wrap my head around how Manchester United managed to pull off that 3-2 win over Arsenal, especially considering the Gunners were aiming for a record-breaking unbeaten run. It's clear that Michael Carrick is doing something right as interim manager, but scoring goals from open play needs to be their top priority 🔴👊. Those forwards at Arsenal just can't seem to get it done, and it's starting to raise some serious questions about their chemistry. Can Manchester United keep the momentum going? 💪

I think what really struck me about today's match was how Arsenal struggled under pressure 🤔. I mean, you can set up your team and game plan all day, but at the end of the day, it's about mental toughness 💪. If you're not able to perform when it matters most, then what's the point? It's like when we're faced with a tough decision in life - do we take the easy way out or really go for it? 🤯 Either way, it's all about staying focused and believing in ourselves. Manchester United could learn from Arsenal's struggles if they can just find that consistency 🔴

man this carrick kid's got some serious guts takin' the helm after lukas lupulski 😅 and it shows he's already makin' a dent in the top 4, but that arsenal game was insane! i mean 3-2 is a decent win for man u but we gotta be honest with ourselves, they're still lookin like a team tryin to figure out how to score ⚽️. carrick needs to get creative with his attacking lineup or else they'll be stuck in neutral 🚗

OMG u guys I'm SHOOK how did arsenal just get thrashed at home?! 🤯 their attacking line has been so quiet 4 ages & it's like they just got exposed big time. Carrick needs 2 find a way 2 break them down ASAP or else we'll be seeing more of these 3-2 losses 🔴🔵

OMG, what's going on with Arsenal's strikers?! They're like ghostly apparitions out there, unable to score a single goal 🤯💀. I mean, I know it's not an easy task to score against a solid team like Manchester United, but 0 goals? That's just crazy talk! Carrick needs to figure out a plan B ASAP, or his side will be stuck in this rut forever ⏰🔙

I'm not buying into all the hype about Manchester United's mental toughness 🤔. I mean, come on, they were the ones who got dominated by a team that wasn't even firing on all cylinders, and now everyone's talking about their "mental strength"? Give me a break! 🔥 If they can't handle being outplayed by a team without a clear goal-scorer, what makes them think they're so tough? 🤷‍♂️ And don't even get me started on Carrick - I'm all for the old-school manager vibes, but if he's not gonna find a way to create some decent scoring chances, then his tenure is already over in my book 😴.

🤔 I mean, seriously though... how long can you go without scoring a goal? It's like they're trying to make up for it in other areas but at some point, you gotta break that drought. 🤯 And I'm not just talking about the attacking line, their whole team seems stagnant right now. They're all over the pitch, but where's the precision? The quality shots on goal? Carrick needs to shake things up and find a system that gets those goals flowing again or else Manchester United will be in for a long ride 🔴

man i'm loving mnc uni's performance right now 😂🔴 but seriously, what's goin on w/ arsenal's attack tho?? 3 games w/o a goal is crazy 🤯 cant have a team without a goal-scorer just coastin' thru the league. michael carrick needs to figure out how to get those goals in ASAP or else we'll be seein' more of these losses 👎

I feel like we're seeing the other side of sports, you know? People look at Manchester United's win and think "they must be so good" but what I see is a team that's actually being forced to adapt on the fly. Michael Carrick's a smart guy, he knows his team needs to score goals, it's just a matter of finding that next big scorer or adjusting their strategy. It's not about being tough, it's about being resourceful and making the most of what you've got. Life's like that too, we face setbacks and we gotta find ways to overcome them 🤔

I'm SHOOK by how much MAN UTD dominated that game!!! THEY NEED TO WORK ON THEIR FINISHING ASAP or else it's gonna be a LONG season for them... i mean, who scores 2 goals in 90 minutes and still can't get the win?!? 🤯 meanwhile Bournemouth is on FIRE 🔥 and it's about time West Ham and Nottingham Forest start pulling off some Ws too!
