I'm not surprised really... I mean, who's immune to a few too many drinks, right? 
But seriously, it's a good thing she took responsibility and pleaded guilty instead of trying to fight it in court. A year-long probation with community service sounds like a fair punishment - you can't just get away with this stuff! 
And yeah, it's definitely gonna be an interesting story to watch play out - will she still be able to serve on the appeals court after this? Only time will tell

This whole thing with Judge Worke is like that. She's got one of the highest positions in the judiciary, and yet she still managed to get caught drinkin' and drivin' like a maniac. It's like she thought she was above the law or somethin'! 
like how can a judge make such a huge mistake and get away with it only getting 1 year of probation? i mean, shouldn't they know better than everyone else? 
and what's even more crazy is that she was able to serve for so long without getting in trouble before this happened...like, 20 years on the job?!
