Scarlets have appointed former coach Nigel Davies as interim director of rugby until the end of the season. The 60-year-old returns to the club he played for in his youth, following a review by the board that led to back-room changes and the departure of rugby performance director Leigh Jones. Davies had previously been head coach of Scarlets from 2008 to 2012 and has also held roles with Wales, Gloucester, Ebbw Vale, and Merthyr.
Davies will report directly to the board and take full accountability for performance and results, setting clear standards for how the team plays and behaves. He aims to simplify messages, reinforce Scarlets' identity and values, and create an environment that supports players and coaches to perform.

like what happened 2 leigh jones?? Davies seems like a cool dude tho, been all around europe & uk rugby scene. i gotta say i'm lowkey hyped 4 him 2 take the reins & try 2 turn things arond
