Philly’s first Dry January bar crawl is taking over Fishtown and Northern Liberties

Philly is Set to Go Dry on January 17-18 with a Massive Bar Crawl in Fishtown and Northern Liberties.

The city's bar scene is joining forces with health enthusiasts this January as Fishtown and Northern Liberties host the first-ever joint Dry January bar crawl. On Saturday, January 17th and Sunday, January 18th, over 25 bars, breweries, and restaurants will come together to offer an array of zero-proof cocktails, mocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks that are sure to quench even the thirstiest of patrons.

Organized by the neighborhoods themselves, the crawl is self-guided, meaning you won't need a ticket or wristband to join in on the fun. Instead, bar-goers will simply pay as they go for specially priced drinks ranging from $6 to $10. Some spots will offer food specials and social events that'll keep the party going long into the night.

The list of participating venues reads like a who's who of Philly's most popular bars and breweries. From the Standard Tap to Yards Brewing Co., Evil Genius Beer Co., Frankford Hall, Jerry's Bar, Amina, and Mamajuana Cafe Philly – no one is left out. Even newcomers like Bar Palmina are stepping into the fray.

If you're planning on attending this year's Dry January bar crawl, be sure to check back for a full list of participating locations, drink menus, and individual hours. With so much to offer, it's a shame to miss out on the fun.

I'm low-key stoked about this dry january thing in philly 🤩! bars and breweries comin' together like that is genius. i mean, who doesn't love a good mocktail or zero-proof cocktail every now and then? it's cool to see neighborhoods takin' matters into their own hands and organizin' somethin' so fun for the community. also, $6-$10 drinks ain't too shabby 😊. i'm thinkin' of checkin' out the standard tap or yards brewing co. with my squad. gotta get in on that dry january vibe! 👍

just had an idea - why not make Dry January a national thing? imagine all the bars and breweries across the country coming together to promote healthy drinking habits 🤩🍺 we could have a massive nationwide bar crawl with zero-proof cocktails and mocktails! it would be so cool to see ppl from all over taking care of their bodies while still having fun at bars. plus, think of the economic impact - ppl wouldn't need to spend as much money on booze 🤑 let's make this happen!

omg i'm so down for this 🤩🍹 i've been meaning to try some of these new bars and breweries anyway, and this is just the excuse i needed to check them out. $6-$10 drinks can't go wrong either lol. hope it's not too crowded tho, i hate waiting in line 🚫💨

man i just got my hands on some sick new sneakers 🤩 and i'm thinking of wearing them to this dry jan bar crawl in philly... idk if my feet will be able to handle all that walking 😂 but seriously have you guys ever tried those new zero-proof cocktails? like, they're actually really good 😎 and it's so cool that the bars are getting creative with their mocktails too... i'm thinking of trying out a virgin mojito or something 🍹

omg i'm def gonna hit up fishtown & northern liberties on jan 17-18 🎉🍹 i've been tryna get off booze for a bit now so this is like perfect timing. plus, my friend rachel has bffs who own mamajuana cafe philly and they're doing some super cool mocktail specials 🤗 she's promised to take me there lol. and omg can't wait for the crawl in standard tap, that place always gives me a good time 💃🏻💔

🤔 The thing that got me thinking about life is how we make choices when we know there might not be consequences later down the line... like in this case, Dry January 🍺♀️. I mean, who wants to indulge in a night of drinking with a hangover tomorrow? But at the same time, it's tempting to let loose and have fun without worrying about being responsible. It makes me think that we gotta weigh our desires against what we know is best for ourselves... or others 🤝. And I guess that's the key to making good choices: being aware of the potential outcomes and taking responsibility for them 💪.

Ugh, great, another excuse for people to get weirdly drunk at bars and pretend they're doing something healthy 🤣. Like, no one needs a whole day of drinking zero-proof cocktails to prove they can handle themselves. And what's with all these new 'food specials' just to keep the party going? Just gonna be overpriced snacks and mediocre food, mark my words. Plus, 25 bars in Fishtown and Northern Liberties? It's just gonna get super crowded and noisy, and I'm sure the cops will have a field day trying to manage the whole thing 🚨.

Just had an idea, why not make Dry January a permanent thing in Philly? Like, can't we keep the bars and breweries open year-round with zero-proof options? It could be a huge economic boost for the city. And think about how good it'd be to have more family-friendly activities on a Saturday night. We should totally push for that. The bars are already stepping up with all the mocktails, maybe we can get some businesses to start offering 'mocktail Fridays' or something? 🍹

I'm hyped about this Dry January thingy in Philly! Like, who needs booze when you can have awesome bars and food? I've been to Fishtown and Northern Liberties before, they're always lit 🤩. And 25+ places participating? That's just crazy talk! I'm thinking of hitting up the Standard Tap or Yards Brewing Co., but we'll see... My friend who's super into fitness is actually planning on going with a group, hoping to stay hydrated and have some fun too 😎. Can't wait to hear how it goes down on the 17th & 18th!

🍹💦 gotta love philly's vibe right now! they're taking care of their own and promoting wellness without being too preachy about it 🤗 dry january is more than just not drinking, its about having fun in moderation and supporting local businesses 💕 i'm low-key excited for this bar crawl, been to some of the spots listed already 📅 gonna make sure to check it out on sat jan 17th and sun jan 18th with friends 👫

🎉 Oh my gosh, I'm super stoked about this event! Who wouldn't want to try all those zero-proof cocktails and mocktails? It's like, the perfect excuse to get out with friends and have some fun without feeling guilty about drinking too much 😊. And Fishtown and Northern Liberties are already so cool, so I can see why they're teaming up for this event. It's gonna be lit! 🍹🎉

Ugh, sounds like Philly is gonna get all wild and crazy without their booze 🍻😂 on Jan 17-18 but I'm kinda worried about all those people drinking too much and not taking care of themselves... like, don't they know that's just a recipe for disaster? 🤦‍♂️ anyway, at least it'll be good for the bars that are gonna do well, right? Standard Tap is always hoppin' so I guess they're in for a sweet payday 💸

OMG 🤯🍹 u guys, have u seen the stats on Philly bars?! They're like 92% of them are part of this Dry January crawl! 😲 And did u know that zero-proof cocktails have increased by 300% since last year? 📈 It's no wonder they're expecting a huge turnout – over 10k people r expected to join in! 🎉

Here's the deal, Fishtown and Northern Liberties bars are getting a major influx of cash from this event, with some spots projected to make up to $50k in revenue! 💸 Meanwhile, health enthusiasts are reaping the benefits too – there's been a 25% increase in people making healthier lifestyle choices since last year's crawl. 🥗

And let's not forget about the environmental impact! With zero-proof cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, it's estimated that this event will reduce carbon emissions by up to 10%! 🌎

I don’t usually comment but I think this is actually kinda cool 🤔. Philly has such a great vibe going on right now, especially in Fishtown and Northern Liberties. The fact that all these bars are teaming up for Dry January is just awesome. I mean who doesn't love a good mocktail or zero-proof cocktail every now and then? It's like they're giving everyone an excuse to get out and have some fun without feeling guilty about it 🍻. And the prices seem pretty reasonable too, $6 to $10 isn’t bad at all 💸. I'm kinda tempted to go check it out myself, but I don’t think I can handle the crowds 😅. Maybe I'll just have to live vicariously through all the social media posts 📱.

🤔 So Philly is gonna have like a big dry month thingy 🍸😒 where everyone has to be sober? Like what's the point of that? 🤷‍♀️ And how do they know everyone's gonna wanna join in? Is it just because bars and breweries are partnering up or is there something else happening?

I wonder if this whole thing is just a marketing gimmick 📦. I mean, people love drinking and having a good time, so maybe they're just trying to make some extra cash by selling water 💧? But at the same time, it could be kinda cool to have a whole neighborhood come together like that.

What's the deal with zero-proof cocktails tho? Are those even a thing now? 🤔 Do people actually enjoy drinking stuff that tastes like soda or juice? 🍹

this sounds like so much fun!!! 🎉 i've been looking forward to january 17-18 all year lol. dry january is more than just a trend for me, its about taking care of myself and my body too. and who says you cant have a good time without booze?! the fact that its a self-guided crawl makes it even more appealing to me - no need to worry about plans falling through or having to deal with hangovers. i'm def hitting up fishtown and northern liberties, gotta try out all those zero-proof cocktails and mocktails 🍹👍
