just heard about Roger Allers passing at 76, feels like we're losing a piece of Disney magic I mean, have you seen The Lion King? That movie is still holding up today and it's all because of his innovative storytelling and direction His legacy lives on through the films he made but it's always sad to see someone with so much talent and creativity go
just heard about this... sad to see another legend go 76 is still pretty young, you'd think more animation magic from him? anyway, his work on The Lion King is iconic - I mean, who doesn't love that opening scene with the birds and the "hakuna matata" vibe? it's a shame he didn't get to see how far his style would've influenced future animators. RIP roger allers
Dunno why we gotta celebrate some dude's death . I mean, sure, he was a good animator and all, but his stuff's still just animation - it's not like it's gonna change the world or anything . And let's be real, most of these "timeless classics" are just rehashed versions of old ideas with fancy special effects . I mean, The Lion King was just a bunch of kids running around in the savannah with some fancy music . And don't even get me started on Lilo & Stitch - that one's just a bunch of weirdness . Anyway, yeah, Roger Allers might've been a legend to some people, but I'll believe it when I see his stuff making a real difference in the world .
Man, 76 is old, but I guess it feels like just yesterday he was making those classic Disney movies... I remember watching The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast as a kid and just being blown away by how magical they were - it's crazy to think that Roger Allers was behind all that magic . It's wild to think about how much impact his work had on animation, especially with Lilo & Stitch and Open Season... he really pushed the boundaries of what was possible . I'm gonna miss seeing more from him, but at least we know that his legacy will live on through all the amazing films he helped make
man this is sad news... 76 years old is still young lol but i guess we lose people at any age anyway, i remember watching the lion king as a kid and it was just mesmerizing allers was definitely a master of his craft, i mean have you seen beauty and the beast? that film holds up so well even to this day what's crazy is how he worked on tron first and then went on to make those iconic disney films... talk about making a move from one industry to another and it's wild that his adaptation of the lion king won a ton of awards, including a golden globe anyway, i'm gonna miss seeing what new projects allers had in store for us
