Sony A7 V review: Awesome speed and photo quality

The Sony A7V is an incredible camera for photography, with speeds, autofocus accuracy, and image quality ahead of rivals, including the Canon R6 III, Panasonic S1 II, and Nikon Z6 III. However, it falls short in video capabilities, missing RAW, native resolution, and open gate capture, which are available on these other cameras.

Key strengths:

* Excellent autofocus accuracy
* Fast speeds for capturing fast-moving subjects
* High-quality image results with excellent dynamic range and color accuracy

Weaknesses:

* Limited video capabilities, including no RAW, native resolution, or open gate capture
* No 4K MP4 recording at higher frame rates (e.g., 120fps) without a crop factor
* Limited flexibility in post-processing options for video creators

Who is it best suited for?

* Photography enthusiasts and professionals who need fast and accurate autofocus and excellent image quality.
* Anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use camera for photography.

Who may want to consider other options?

* Serious video creators or producers who require RAW, native resolution, or open gate capture for their footage.
* Those looking for the highest level of flexibility in post-processing options for video editing.

I mean, can you believe this camera is like that? It's got all the skills to take pro shots, but when it comes to videography, it's more like a "borrowed" cousin 🀣. I get it, Sony wants to own the stills game, but come on, guys! If you're gonna be a video beast, give us some RAW, native res, and an open gate, stat! It's like they say, "you can't have your cake and eat it too" – or in this case, your 4K at 120fps πŸŽ₯. Anyways, if you're just looking for solid stills pics, the A7V is still a great choice, but if video's where it's at, maybe Sony should "shoot" themselves some new tech πŸ“ΈπŸ’₯

🀩 I just got my hands on the Sony A7V and OMG it's a beast! πŸ¦– I've been using it for photography and let me tell you, the autofocus is insane 😲 and the image quality is on point πŸ”₯. But, if you're planning to do serious video work, you might want to hold off for now... πŸ˜” they're still lacking some key features like RAW, native resolution, and open gate capture πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. I mean, I'm all about flexibility in post-processing options πŸ’» so that's a big minus for me. But if you're just looking for a reliable camera for taking amazing pics, the A7V is definitely worth considering πŸ“Έ

I'm not sure I'd say the Sony A7V is that incredible when it comes to video capabilities πŸ€”. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's got some solid points going for it, but RAW and native resolution are kinda a big deal, especially if you're into videography. And as for open gate capture... come on, who needs that? It's all about the stills, right? πŸ“Έ The Canon R6 III and Panasonic S1 II might be more up your alley if you need those fancy features for video. And yeah, I know, it's a great camera for photography, but let's not get too carried away with the hype πŸ˜…. It's just a solid all-around camera that does its job well, but maybe doesn't blow anyone away in terms of video capabilities.

The Sony A7V is defo a beast for stills photography πŸ“ΈπŸ˜Ž but when it comes to videography, I'm like "meh". The lack of RAW and native resolution is a major letdown, IMHO πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. If you're all about that video life, maybe consider the Canon R6 III or Panasonic S1 II instead? Those guys bring the heat when it comes to 4K recording at high frame rates πŸŽ₯πŸ’¨.

That being said, if you're a photography enthusiast who just wants to whip out some sick stills shots, the Sony A7V is still a great choice πŸ“Έ. The autofocus accuracy and image quality are top-notch, so you can't go wrong with that 😊. Just don't expect it to keep up with your video needs, 'kay?

πŸ“Έ The Sony A7V is a beast for stills, but a snail for vids 🐌. If you're all about capturing life's fast moments, it's a dream come true ⏱️, but if you need to shoot cinematic masterpieces, keep looking 🎬.

I gotta say, I'm loving the Sony A7V's autofocus skills 🀩 it's like a beast when it comes to tracking fast-moving subjects! And the image quality is insane... I mean, it's definitely one of the best out there right now. But, come on, who needs RAW and native resolution for video? πŸ˜‚ It's like they're catering more to photographers than videographers. Still, if you're just looking for a solid camera for snaps, the A7V is hard to beat. Just don't expect it to be your go-to for anything beyond stills photography πŸ“Έ

I'm a bit bummed that Sony's A7V is missing out on some super important video features πŸ€”. I mean, if you're just taking stills, it's an absolute beast and will blow all the other cameras away πŸ”₯! But if you're into vlogging or making content for social media, I'd say look elsewhere πŸ‘€. Those Canon R6 III and Panasonic S1 II have got some crazy features that will make your video game πŸ“ΉπŸ’»

I'm like totally sold on this Sony A7V thingy 🀩, I mean, it's a beast for photography, no doubt about that! It's like, super fast and accurate with autofocus, and the image quality is insane 😲. But, at the same time, I'm kinda worried about its video game... err, capabilities... I mean, RAW and native resolution are like, totally important for some people, you know? And 4K at 120fps without cropping that's just, like, a deal-breaker for me πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. I don't think it's worth the investment if you're into video production, unless you're, like, super casual and just need something reliable for quick snaps... or photography enthusiasts who just wanna print their pics out and be done with it πŸ˜….

ugh i just cant get over how sony is killing it with this camera - autofocus is literally insane, and image quality is next level... but like, what's the point if you can't even capture high-quality vids? i mean, i need that raw footage to edit like a pro and get the best out of my video projects 🀯. and dont even get me started on the 4k recording thing - it just feels so outdated now. as a photographer, this camera would be perfect for me tho... but if im being totally honest, id rather shell out more money to get something that can handle both stills and vids like a boss πŸ€‘.

πŸ“Έ Camera tech can be a major winner for some, but total snooze fest for others, if you ask me πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. Sony's A7V is like that one politician who looks good on the surface – all speed and autofocus accuracy on the surface, but lacks depth (or features) when it comes to video capabilities. RAW, native resolution, and open gate capture are like the extra party favors that other cameras get to give their creators 🎁.

For photography enthusiasts, Sony's A7V is a solid choice, no doubt about it πŸ™Œ. But for serious videographers or producers who need flexibility in post-processing options? Forget it! They should be looking at the Canon R6 III or Panasonic S1 II – those guys are bringing the heat with their feature sets πŸ”₯.

It's all about who you're trying to impress, I guess 😏.

the Sony A7V is a beast for stills but if you're planning on doing any serious vlogging or editing you gotta consider other options πŸ€”. I mean, not that it's a bad camera by any means, the autofocus is insane and the image quality is top notch, but when it comes to video capabilities it just can't compete with some of the other cameras out there.

I was thinking about getting one for my own vlogging setup, but then i saw the features list for the Canon R6 III and Panasonic S1 II and thought "hold up, maybe i should be looking elsewhere" 😐. I mean, RAW video, native resolution, open gate capture... those are some big deal specs if you ask me.

don't get me wrong, the A7V is a great camera for photography enthusiasts or pros who just need to take some sick pics, but if you're serious about making content and want to have more control over your edits, i'd say it's worth looking into other options πŸ“ˆ.

I got this news about the Sony A7V camera... πŸ€”
To be honest, it's like they said - it's amazing for photography, but I'm a bit disappointed in the video side of things. I mean, who doesn't love having all those options for RAW and native resolution? It just feels like some people are playing catch-up with their rivals.

But you know what? If you're a pro photographer or just someone who wants great shots without breaking the bank, this camera is still super hard to beat. The autofocus accuracy is insane, and it's so fast - perfect for those action shots! πŸ“Έ

However, if you're into video production or just want that extra flexibility in post-processing... might wanna look elsewhere. I know some people are gonna love this camera, but others will be like "where's the RAW?" πŸ˜…

omg u guys i just got my hands on the sony a7v 🀩 and i gotta say its a beast 4 photography! autofocus is sooo fast n accurate, perfect 4 capturing those fast moving sports or wildlife shots πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ. image quality is also insane, dynamic range n color accuracy r top notch. but lol, it kinda falls flat in video mode, no raw, native res, open gate capture... that's like, basic requirements for a videographer nowadays πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ. if u need 4 fast photography & don't care bout videography, its def the A7V 4 u!
