Sunday stats: Paul George starts attacking downhill, and the Sixers have found a swarming defensive lineup

I'm so hyped for Paul George right now 🤩! He's finally found his groove and it's making such a big difference for the Sixers. I mean, have you seen those 6-9 moves against the Magic? 😲 They're like a work of art! And what's even better is how he's meshing with the rest of the team - Edgecombe, Grimes, Oubre Jr., and Drummond are all killing it on D 💪. It's amazing to see them all working together like that.

I think Coach Nurse has made some great moves by playing George alongside Embiid and Maxey. It's like they're unstoppable! 😅 And with George's new approach to shooting, he's becoming a totally different player. I'm loving the way he's taking shots from closer range now - it's so much more efficient.

I'm really hoping the Sixers can make a push for the top seed in the East now. With this lineup, they've got a real shot at it 💥.

I gotta disagree with all this hype around Paul George 🤔. He's still just a mid-30s player trying to make a late-career comeback 🙅‍♂️. His 'new approach' to shooting is just code for he's becoming more selective, which means he's not being aggressive enough on the court 🚫. And don't even get me started on how overrated this defensive unit is 🔒. VJ Edgecombe and Quentin Grimes are decent at all, but they can't carry George's old-school shooting to a championship 🏆. The Sixers will still make a playoff push, but it'll be because of Embiid and Maxey doing all the heavy lifting, not George 🤷‍♂️.

I'm loving this resurgence from PG 🙌! His new approach to the game has completely transformed the way he plays and it's amazing to see him using his speed and agility to attack downhill without worrying about shooting mid-range jumpers all the time 😂. The way he's meshing with the rest of the team is incredible, especially VJ Edgecombe and Quentin Grimes who are literally unstoppable on defense 🤯.

It's also brilliant how this new dynamic has allowed Nurse to switch up his strategy, pairing Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey together more often and unleashing their chemistry on the court ⚡️. The fact that PG is leading by example and setting up his teammates with ease is just incredible – he's finally found his stride in Philly and it's about time we saw this side of him 🤩.

The way this team is coming together is just electric, and I think they've got a real shot at taking over the top seed in the East 💥.
