Surgeon accused of operating while intoxicated gets license temporarily suspended: Medical board

OMG u guys this is wild 🤯 like a plastic surgeon getting caught doing surgery drunk is super serious lol can't believe he's a doc and all I guess his medical board took swift action tho good on them for keeping patients safe 💉 the thing that got me though was that he's been dealing with substance abuse issues for a looong time apparently 🤷‍♀️ it just goes to show how important it is to prioritize your health and well-being, especially when you're in a high-stress profession like surgery 🙏

🤔 I'm not buying this story just yet... I mean, a surgeon gets caught drunk and operating on someone? That's like something out of a movie, right? 🍹 How do we even know Dr. Jaffer was performing surgery that day? And what exactly does "operating under the influence" even mean in this context? Is it just a figure of speech? I need more info than just some statement from the medical board 📝 and a news article. Where's the evidence? How did they confirm he was drunk at the time? This all feels like hearsay to me... 🤷‍♂️

Omg 😱 what's going on with these docs 🤯? A plastic surgeon getting caught operating under the influence is a big deal! I mean, you're putting people's lives in your hands every time they go under the knife 💉. And to think this guy had a license and was practicing medicine without being totally sober... it's just crazy 😲.

I don't know how many times we have to see someone get caught like this before we start questioning why our medical boards aren't taking action sooner 🤔. It's not like Dr. Jaffer is the only one who's ever gotten in trouble for substance abuse - it seems like there are always more cases of docs getting caught up in their own party habits 🎉.

But seriously, this just goes to show that medicine isn't as cut-and-dried as we'd think 😅. You've got to have some serious checks and balances in place to ensure people's safety... or else we're all in trouble 😬.

OMG, this is insane! 🤯 I mean, who does that? 😱 I'm not gonna lie, it's a huge red flag when you're doing surgery on patients while hammered 🍻👎. And to think he was able to keep his license active for so long without anyone catching wind of it... shady, if you ask me! 🤔 But honestly, the Medical Board stepping in and taking action is a good thing - patient safety should always come first 💯. I do wonder what went through that doc's mind when he decided to operate under the influence though... like, was he really thinking clearly? 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, it's all over now, and hopefully Dr. Jaffer gets some help before his hearing 👊.
