I'm not sure why everyone makes such a big deal about the Grammys anymore

... it's just an awards show, right? But I guess it's nice to see all these talented artists getting recognized for their hard work

omg the grammys are finally back

i was so down for the clive davis gala it's like who doesn't love clive right? he's been supporting artists for years and it's so cool to see republic records getting honored on his watch. and then there's this wet leg thing - they're not even americans but they made it big in uk music scene, i love it

the grammys need more acts like them, less of the same old pop stars. anyway, can't wait for the afterparties to go down, frost children sounds lit

I mean, a party at the Grammy Museum's afterparty sounds nice, but what about all these other events that require tickets or have specific requirements for attendance?

I'VE BEEN FOLLWING ALONG AND IT SEEMS LIKE THERE ARE SO MANY AMAZING EVENTS PLANNED AROUND IT!!! THE PRE-PARTY EVENTS LOOK REALLY COOL, ESPECIALLY THE ONE HONORING REPUBLIC RECORDS' FOUNDERS - THAT SOUNDS LIKE SUCH A SPECIAL NIGHT!!!

I'M ALSO LOVING THE SOUND OF THE GRAMMY MUSEUM'S AFTERPARTY - TERRI LYNE CARINGTON IS GOING TO BE THE MUSIC DIRECTOR?!?! THAT ALONE MAKES ME WANT TO GO!!!

AND OF COURSE, WHO CAN FORGET THE MAIN EVENT ITSELF?!?! TREVOR NOAH IS GOING TO HOST AND THERE ARE SO MANY AMAZING PERFORMERS LINEUP!!!

I mean, can't these event organizers just pick one venue to host their after-parties? It's like they're trying to scatter the partygoers all over LA

. And what's up with the Grammys having so many after-parties? It's like they want people to forget about the actual awards show

And don't even get me started on the ticket prices for some of these events

. I mean, I get it, some of these artists are worth paying to see live, but come on, $50+ just to watch a DJ spin some tracks?

just saw the list of pre party events and i gotta say, clive davis gala sounds like an intimate thing

. wonder who they'll be honoring at that one? might be interesting to see what republic records founders are up to 20 years after founding the label

and omg, domino record co celebrating wet leg's grammy nominations is so cool! wet leg is such a talented duo

. hope they bring some energy to their celebration

also, riaa industry reception on jan 31st seems like an important event for anyone in the music industry
