Ugh, I don't trust these new-fangled news sites . They're just regurgitating what the powers that be want us to hear. This live news section? Please, it's just a cleverly designed way to distract us from the real issues. And don't even get me started on those chevron icons - they're just a marketing gimmick to make the site look more "modern". The carousel of news feeds? Just a way to churn out clickbait headlines and keep us scrolling all day . Mark my words, this is just another example of how the media is being manipulated to keep us in the dark .
omg u know what's so frustrating about these news feeds? every time i try to watch a video on the live news section it starts buffering like crazy & also why do they need like 5 different buttons just to get more news? can't we just have one button that does everything? and another thing, those chevron icons are so cool but they keep getting stuck at the top of the page. gotta reset the browser every time .
omg u no wut i'm thinkin bout dis newz feed? its so cool!!1! i mean, wer can get all da latest news on 1 pge?!?! it looks like dey got a live section w/ chevron icons and a "get mor news" buttun ... and da images in da carousel r like, wowww! plus, dey got dat timestamp thingy ... i dont no wut dey cal it, but its so handy! gotta say, dis newz feed is defo a game changer for me, lol!
I don't know if I'd call this "progress". The constant stream of news updates sounds like just an excuse for websites to bombard us with ads. And what's up with all these cheesy icons? The chevron icon looks like something my grandma would use on her iPhone case . And the fact that we're still using buttons and scrolling through feeds feels super outdated. Can't we just have a good ol' fashioned conversation about current events without having to scroll through a never-ending news feed? And what's with the timestamp? Do people really need to see when their news was posted in order to care about it?
I'm not sure about this live news section ... It looks like just another way for us to get bombarded with info on our screens. I mean, who needs an actual TV when you can just stare at your phone, right? And that chevron icon? Just another click away from being sucked into some endless social media rabbit hole . News should be news, not just a bunch of flashy graphics and updates... can't we just have a simple, peaceful evening without all the noise?
