This feels like déjà vu all over again! I mean, we've been following this whole YNW Melly saga for what feels like an eternity. He's been in and out of custody for so long now it's hard to keep track of when he'll actually be free. The state's decision to drop the charges on the eve of his retrial is pretty predictable if you ask me - they just couldn't get a grip on the evidence.
I'm not surprised Melly's lawyers are stoking the fire and saying this is vindication, but we all know that's just part of the game. The real question now is what's going to happen next? Will he finally walk free or will prosecutors come back with something new? Either way, it's clear this drama isn't done yet... and I'll be keeping an eye on it!
just don't get it what's going on here... 2k days in jail for a guy who still claims he didn't do it and now the prosecutors are like "nah, we can't prove it" so yeah good luck getting his freedom back, but what about the other people involved in that case? did they get justice?
idk what to think about this news...i mean i guess it's kinda fair that they dropped the charges now that the jury didn't return a verdict back in 2018 lol how many years is that again? and yeah idc how long YNW Melly has been held up its just sad he cant even live his life atm
