Ebola Epidemic in DR Congo Spreading at Alarming Rate The Democratic Republic of Congo is facing its worst Ebola outbreak on record, with cases spreading faster than any previous one.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 2,400 reported cases and more than 1,500 deaths have occurred since August 2018.
The current outbreak has surpassed the previous deadliest one, which took place in West Africa from 2014 2016.
