The team refused to accept the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi, president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and Pakistan's cricket chief.

Naqvi was seated alongside senior officials from India's Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as he watched the Indian team celebrate their victory.
