As he gets olderm we can talk about the pictures. Older still, we’ll read the books together. Now my son is old enough to read the book to me. The photos and stories are super. Such great value and the pages are thick to it will last for years. These books are proven to inspire a love of reading in children from a very early age. We’re glad you’re enjoying them.
Bought these books from The Book People quite a while ago and they have been enjoyed by three little boys with a fourth about to be introduced to them. The illustrations are bold and colourful and very appealing to little ones. The rhyming text is easy to remember and the boys enjoyed the silliness of some of the stories. They loved the stories so much that they soon joined in and very quickly knew them off by heart.
They enjoyed looking for the little duck too! Great books for a great price. Highly recommended. As my daughter is a December baby she doesn’t start nursery until she is almost 4 so wanted to introduce her to phonic type books without pushing her or trying to ‘teach’ her which they recommend against. These are lovely books and a perfect introduction to phonics. She has plenty of other ‘storybooks’ to fulfil that purpose. She finds them funny and loves trying to find the ducks too.
