just saw this news and I'm like "okay so the Bears are trying to fortify their O-line with Jones getting promoted from IR 
. That's gotta be a huge boost for the team, especially when you consider they're facing off against the Rams who love to score 
. Did you see their stats from last game? 38 points in the 1st quarter alone! 
And on D, Sewell's departure from the practice squad might actually work out since Reeves-Maybin was already getting some snaps... let's look at his career numbers: 12.5 sacks in 2022

. I mean i feel bad for him but its like the Bears are getting desperate here. Braxton Jones comin back is a lil better news, but only cuz hes playin backup left tackle which means hes not gonna make any big changes. Jalen Reeves-Maybin signin is all well & good, but what about their D-line? The Rams got some studs & theyre gonna smash the Bears

I remember watching some of these same players when they were starting out and now they're all seasoned pros. Jalen Reeves-Maybin signing makes sense though, their defense needs a boost! 
They can't let those Rams come back with that scoring thingy... it's like they're unstoppable on offense!

Braxton Jones is gonna be a great backup for Theo Benedet and now they've got some extra firepower in Jalen Reeves-Maybin, that linebacker played only 8 snaps last time out but if he's getting the nod now it's gotta be good 
Anyway, Braxton Jones being back on IR doesn't really sit right with me either – I mean, he was only out for like 3-4 weeks. Guess it's just a precautionary move to get him some more practice time?
