Bears will have 25th pick in this year's draft

Bears' Season Ends in Disappointment as Los Angeles Rams Secure Spot in Upcoming Draft.

Chicago's 11-6 record proved insufficient to secure a higher spot in the upcoming NFL draft, as they are set to claim the 25th overall pick after falling short against the Los Angeles Rams in overtime. The Rams' victory over the Bears brought an end to Chicago's 15-year playoff drought, and their loss marked a disappointing conclusion to the season.

The Bears' record was worse than that of three other teams that lost in the divisional round: the Bills, Texans, and 49ers all finished with identical 12-5 marks. Consequently, they have been awarded the lower of those four spots in the upcoming draft.

This year's NFL draft is scheduled to take place from April 23rd to 25th in Pittsburgh. For the Bears, it will be their first first-round pick since selecting Gabe Carimi with the 29th overall pick in 2011. In recent years, they have been unable to secure a first-round pick at all due to trades involving players such as Justin Fields and Khalil Mack.

Despite falling short against the Rams, Chicago showed promise throughout the season, particularly on offense, where D'Andre Swift made a number of notable plays. However, their inability to close out the game ultimately proved costly, as they were unable to secure a higher spot in the draft.

Ugh man, i cant believe it! 🀯 Chicago Bears had such high hopes this season but ended up with nothing to show for it... that 11-6 record just didnt cut it πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ and now they're stuck with the 25th pick? 🚫 That's like getting the last slice of pizza when everyone else got a whole pie πŸ•. I'm so salty for Da Bears fans, all those years of hope and disappointment... at least they showed some promise on offense tho 😊 D'Andre Swift is gonna make some plays in that draft, just you watch! πŸ’ͺ

I'm not gonna lie, I was kinda rooting for Chicago πŸ€”... but I guess this is just one of those things that happens! They had some awesome moments on offense, and D'Andre Swift is an absolute beast on the field πŸ’ͺ! And yeah, a 15-year playoff drought is a big deal - let's hope they can turn it around next season πŸ’ͺ. Los Angeles Rams getting a spot in the draft might be a blessing in disguise for them... who knows what gems they'll pick up? 🀞

OMG I'm literally still trying to process how the Bears ended up with that 25th pick 🀯! They had a solid season, no doubt about it, but that OT loss just ruined everything for them 😩. I mean, D'Andre Swift was on fire all year and they couldn't even capitalize on that momentum πŸ’₯. And can we talk about how the Bills, Texans, and 49ers all finished with the same record?! It's like they got screwed by the NFL πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. Anyways, first round pick in 2025 is gonna be a game-changer for them... or so I hope πŸ˜…. Bring on the rebuild! πŸ’ͺ

man this is so frustrating for the bears fans πŸ€• I feel like they had such potential this year but just couldn't get it together. 15 years without a playoff spot is just crazy, and now they're gonna have to wait until round 2 for their first-round pick πŸ“¦ it's like, what's going on with this team? they made some great moves in the offseason but just can't seem to put it all together... D'Andre Swift is such a talent though, I'm hoping he can get them some decent picks in the draft πŸ’ͺ maybe next year will be their year 🀞

man i'm so bummed for the bears fans πŸ€•...they had that one game goin great and then just fell apart in overtime 🚫 what's up with that? 😩 chicago's got some talented players like swift but it seems like they're stuck in a rut trying to rebuild their team πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ hopefully next year they can get those first-round picks they need πŸ’ͺ

Omg, I'm so frustrated for the Bears fans πŸ€•πŸ˜”! They had such high hopes after that 11-6 record but it just wasn't enough πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ. I mean, 15 years without a playoff spot is a huge drought 😩 and this season's ending was super disappointing πŸ’”. Their offense looked so strong with D'Andre Swift and all 🀩, but defense let them down big time 🚫. Now they're stuck with the 25th pick and I just don't think that'll be enough to turn it around πŸ”„. Hopefully next year will bring better luck for them πŸ’• #BearsNation #NFLDraft #Disappointment

can you believe the bears were this close to breaking that 15 year playoff drought only to fall short in overtime? 😐 still gotta say though, d'andre swift was on fire all season long 🏈πŸ’₯ and i think they should've made some moves to get him more support upfront πŸ’ͺ

I'm still trying to process how crazy this NFL season was 🀯. The Bears had so much hype around them with D'Andre Swift and Justin Fields, but it all came crashing down in overtime πŸ˜”. 11-6 record just isn't enough when you're up against the Rams 🏈. And can we talk about the draft standings? It's wild that they ended up with the 25th pick. That being said, I think the Bears showed some promising signs on offense, and it's not like they didn't put in a good fight. But, yeah, tough break for the team πŸ€•.

By the way, have you seen those stats from this season? The Bears averaged 24.5 points per game on the road, which is basically a league low πŸ“Š. And their 3rd down conversion rate was only at 42%. Not exactly what you'd call 'dominant' πŸ˜….

The Bears' season was all about hype and disappointment πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. I mean, 11-6 record's not bad, but it's not great either. They had some good moments on offense, especially with D'Andre Swift, but they just couldn't close out the games when it mattered most. And now, they're stuck with a 25th pick... that's rough 😞. I think they needed a bit more consistency to move up the draft board. It's like they were just one step away from making a real push for a higher spot, but then they let their guard down and lost. Maybe this is an opportunity for them to address some of their weaknesses and build towards something better next year... 🀞
