Beatriz González obituary

I'm not sure if Beatriz González's artistic legacy is still relevant today 🤔. I mean, the art world moves so fast and people get bored with old stuff after a while. Like, are we really still learning from her work 20 years after she passed away? But on the other hand, I think it's amazing that her art is still being celebrated and exhibited in major museums worldwide 🎨. Maybe that's just proof of how impactful her work was to begin with. And can we even imagine what she would have created if she were alive today? 🤷‍♀️ That's a pretty wild thought...

man I just read about this Colombian artist Beatriz González who left such a mark on the world of art 🎨💥 with her work "Auras Anónimas" at Bogotá's Central Cemetery it's like she took those tombstones and turned them into a statement about the nameless victims of Colombia's history you know how some artists just create for art's sake but Beatriz was all about using her platform to talk about real issues like social inequality and human suffering her legacy is gonna live on forever 🙏

🤔 I'm really saddened by the news of Beatriz González's passing... she was an incredible artist! Her artwork is so eye-catching and thought-provoking, especially with how she used those 8,957 tombstones to create this massive piece called "Auras Anónimas". It's crazy that people didn't recognize her contributions to art sooner. I mean, the fact that she was able to turn an old columbarium into something so powerful and meaningful is just amazing 🤯. I love how she used everyday images from mass media to make these big statements about power and conflict. Her legacy will definitely live on in Colombia's art scene 💕... can't wait to check out the retrospectives at museums worldwide 📚
