Brazil's Bolsonaro finds novel way to reduce 27-year sentence: reading books

lol, can you believe this? 🤣 so bolsonaro's like "i don't have time to read" and now he's stuck in prison with a bunch of books 😂 and honestly who would've thought that reading books could be his ticket outta prison? 📚 it's kinda cool that they're making him read some serious stuff too, like indigenous rights and the environment... maybe it'll do him some good for once 🤞 and yeah, a 950-page book is a lot to get through, i'd be struggling just looking at it 😩

Can you imagine having 27 years cut down to almost nothing just for finishing some books? It's wild how far he's willing to go to get out of prison sooner... But seriously, it's kinda cool that the Brazilian government is giving him this chance. I guess it shows they're open to rehabilitation and trying new things. I wonder what he'll make of reading about Indigenous rights and Brazil's dictatorship history - might be a wake-up call for someone who's never been too interested in learning from his past mistakes 🤔📚

This guy's gotta have some serious guts or desperation lol 🤣. I mean, who takes advantage of a little-known loophole like that? And books on Indigenous rights and the dictatorship he used to support? That's just weird, you know? 🙃 I feel bad for the authors, though. Like, Ana Maria Gonçalves' book is 950 pages long... if Bolsonaro even cracks it open, that's a feat in itself 😂.

I'm curious to see how this plays out, though. Will he actually finish reading any of these books? And what's the real motive behind his team doing this? Is it just a PR stunt or is there something more to it? 🤔 Only time (and Bolsonaro's reading habits) will tell 😊

this is soooo weird lol imagine bolsonaro with a book club 🤣 anyway i think its kinda cool that he gets a second chance at reducing his sentence like that. but for real though, who knew brazilians had such a cool system where you can cut your prison time by reading books? 📚👍 its not like hes going to actually enjoy it or anything lol but hey at least hes trying to make the most of it... maybe he'll even learn something 🤞

Ugh, this is so cheesy 🤦‍♂️... I mean, who thought it was a good idea for a convicted felon like Bolsonaro to be given books as a way out of prison? It's just a publicity stunt to get him off the news. And what kind of reading list is this? Indigenous rights and racism? Are they trying to guilt trip him into feeling bad about his past actions? 🙄 Newsflash: it won't work! This whole thing feels like a PR manipulation to keep Bolsonaro in the public eye while he serves out his sentence. Meanwhile, who's making sure he actually reads the books? 🤔
