Campaigners urge UK ministers to make music lyrics inadmissible in court

I don't usually comment but... I think it's wild that music tastes can be used against someone in court. Like, if you love a song by The Godfather soundtrack, does that really mean you're going to commit crimes? It just doesn't add up 🤔. And it's crazy how this happens to young black men, like they're being judged based on their musical preferences rather than actual actions. I don't think it's fair at all 💯. The idea of having independent experts and procedural safeguards sounds like a good start. Maybe we can learn from our mistakes and make the justice system more about what actually happened in a crime, not just what someone likes to listen to 🎵.

I'm surprised they're only now tackling this issue 🤷‍♂️. I mean, I've been reading about how music-related evidence can be super misleading for ages. Like, who's to say that someone listening to Kendrick Lamar is going to be into gang stuff? It just doesn't add up 🎶. And what about all the innocent people who love certain artists but have nothing to do with crime? It's wild that it's only now being brought up in parliament 💡. I hope they take the campaign seriously and make some real changes 🔗.
