Carrick must shake off tactical rigidity to taste success with Manchester United | Louise Taylor

oh man i think michael carrick has been super underrated as a manager lol he was so honest about what went wrong at middlesbrough but idk if being too cautious is always a bad thing coaches need to think about their teams on the fly and carricks approach might actually be more relatable for the fans than some other managers who are all about instant gratification u gotta respect him 4 staying true to himself even when it's not popular 🤩

I think its gonna be a tough one for Michael Carrick 🤔... He's got a lot of respect from fans but also some people think he's too cautious, you know? 🙃 Manchester United's board invested loads in him and yet Boro still didn't do so well... It's like they were just going through the motions, you feel me? 💥 Maybe it's time for Carrick to mix things up a bit, not be as rigid with his tactics. That would definitely help the team perform better. But at the same time, he's got a good rep for being decent and all that... Guess we'll just have to wait and see if he can turn things around! 🤞

man... michael carrick's got a tough one ahead 🤔. i think part of the problem is that he was stuck in 'player mode' from his days at united 🏆 instead of being more flexible as a manager. it's not about being too predictable, but finding that balance between playing good football and adapting to the situation on the pitch. 8m isn't a lot to work with, especially considering middlesbrough finished below sunderland 💸. carrick needs to be more open to feedback and willing to adjust his tactics mid-game 👊
