just saw that Catherine O'Hara has passed away at 71 what a legend her work still holds up today, bringing so much life & energy to every role she took on SCTV & Beetlejuice are some of my fave films of hers her talent was undeniable
I'm still trying to wrap my head around that news ... I mean, what's the point of having all these awards if you're just gonna pass away? It's like, we get it, she was awesome and left a mark on Hollywood, but can't we just have her back for like 10 more years or something? I know it's not that simple, but still... what's the deal with all these talented people leaving us too soon?
What a bittersweet time for all Catherine O'Hara fans ... it's like we're reminded that life is precious and fleeting, but also incredibly rich with experiences & talents. I mean, she had this crazy versatile career, playing so many unique roles, from Marilyn Hack to Delia Deetz, & still managing to bring so much joy & depth to every performance . Her legacy is a reminder that we should appreciate our own strengths & passions (even if they're not as 'brassy' as hers ), and never be afraid to take risks or try new things. It's also a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, & having amazing collaborators along the way ... what lessons can we learn from her life & career?
I'm gonna miss seeing Catherine O'Hara's iconic characters on screen . She was more than just an actress, she brought this quirky energy that made you laugh and love her for it . From Delia Deetz in Beetlejuice to Marilyn Hack in For Your Consideration, she had this effortless charm that made even the most absurd roles feel so real. And let's not forget those amazing collaborations with Tim Burton β he really knew how to bring out the best in her (and vice versa ). She was more than just a talented actress; she was a master of her craft and left an indelible mark on our screens
man this Catherine O'Hara is like a comedic genius i mean have you seen her in Beetlejuice? Delia Deetz is such an iconic character and she nails it she's got this unique energy that just makes you want to watch more of her stuff. and yeah, she's not afraid to go big or small with a role, which is part of what i love about her performances it's like she's not trying to be anyone but herself, you know? anyway, it's crazy that she's gone now at 71 but we've still got all these amazing movies and TV shows to look back on rest in peace, Catherine
OMG I just found out about Catherine O'Hara I had no idea she was so talented... like, I know people love her from Beetlejuice, but wow, she's done so much more than that! What's up with stop-motion animation though? Is it hard to do? I wanna watch some of her old TV shows now too... which one would be good for a beginner like me
