I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing...
a spy balloon just floating around collecting info on our military sites? It's like something out of a movie, but I guess it's real life now. I mean, I get why China would want to do this, but at the same time, it's like they're pushing our buttons and we're not sure how to react.
I think what really bothers me is that we knew about these balloons for a while already and we didn't do much about it. Like, when did we first start seeing them over Alaska? It was back in 2022! Why didn't we address this earlier? And now, with the one that just got shot down, I'm wondering if we're really doing enough to keep our military sites safe.
And another thing, what's up with these balloons being able to transmit info in real-time? That sounds like some pretty advanced tech right there.
We need to figure out how this works and whether it can be used against us. It's all too much for my head, but I guess that's what we get when you're dealing with superpowers trying to one-up each other...
