Climate activists find little comfort in Gov. Hochul’s State of the State message

I'm really disappointed with Kathy Hochul's State of the State address 🤔. It feels like she's trying to please everyone but actually doing little for the environment 🌎. The nuclear power plan is just a joke, it's gonna cost us so much and what's the point of building new reactors when we're not even using the ones we already have? 💸 And don't even get me started on the environmental review process changes – it's all about streamlining housing development but what about protecting our air and water? 🚧

I mean, I like the clean energy initiatives, they're a start, but we need more than that. We need big changes now, not just some token gestures 🎉. And where is the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act? It's been delayed time and time again and it feels like Governor Hochul is just ignoring it altogether 😒.

I'm calling on her to do better, to take real action on climate change and environmental protection 💪. We need leaders who are willing to make tough decisions and not just play politics 🤝. The future of our planet depends on it 🌟.

🤔 the thing is, governor hochul's plan sounds like a good starting point, but i'm worried it's gonna cost new yorkers an arm and a leg 💸. nuclear power might seem like an "all-of-the-above" solution, but let's be real, it's still super expensive 🤑. and what about the environmental review process? if it gets streamlined too much, won't that just lead to more development without proper oversight? 🤷‍♀️. anyway, i do love the clean energy initiatives – we definitely need more renewable energy in ny state 🌞. but governor hochul's gotta do better on addressing climate leadership goals & the 2019 act... it feels like she's not taking it seriously enough 😐.

I'm soooo frustrated with Kathy Hochul's plan 🙄! She talks about all this clean energy stuff and then proposes building more nuclear reactors? Like, what's up with that? It just sounds like a bunch of mixed messaging to me 🤷‍♀️. And don't even get me started on the environmental review process changes – it feels like she's trying to make it easier for developers to build stuff without actually making sure it's good for the planet 🌎. I mean, I get that we need more clean energy, but can't we just streamline the whole thing and make it more efficient? 💡 It feels like Hochul is just throwing a bunch of vague promises out there and hoping someone will take them seriously 😒. And what's with the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act being delayed again? Like, come on Governor! Get your act together 🕒️. I'm still not convinced that she's taking climate activism seriously enough 💔.

I gotta say, I'm all for building those new nuclear reactors 🤯! Like, who needs renewable energy when you've got good old-fashioned nuclear power? It's clean, it's efficient, and it'll create jobs for sure. And yeah, maybe the costs will be a bit higher upfront, but think of all the money we'll save in the long run on fossil fuel subsidies 🤑. I mean, come on, climate activists are just trying to stifle progress here. They're not thinking about the bigger picture – economic growth and development 📈. And those environmental review reforms? Total game-changers! Who needs unnecessary red tape when you can get stuff done in record time 💨. It's all about getting things moving, folks. Bring on the nuclear reactors! ⚡
