I've got some tea on this one... apparently, Shanee Mitchell's contract did say she could vary her hours, but was just trying to work out some stuff with her anxiety after being in the department for like, 2 months? 
And now the town is acting all secretive and stuff about it... shady! 
I'm kinda surprised that the EEOC thing didn't come up sooner though - gotta wonder if there's more to this story than just a work schedule dispute. Anyway, hope Shanee Mitchell gets her life back on track ASAP!

I hope she gets through this, it's taking a toll on her mental health and well-being. The politics within the department are ridiculous... can't they just focus on serving the community?

annd now she's got anxiety from conflict with admin 
and the department is facin a lawsuit over overtime costs 
it just don't make sense... they should be focusin on keepin the community safe not playin politics within the dept 
? A police chief just 'cause she didn't want to work the 8 am - 4 pm shift anymore?! Like, what's the big deal?! It's not like she was quitting or anything 
. I mean, I get it, politics and stuff, but come on... this is just a whole thing 
. I feel bad for her, poor girl
