OMG, this is so unfair!
They're just trying to make a living and serve food to the community, but ICE comes in and threatens them with deportation?
It's like they're bullying kids on the playground all over again. The fact that these workers are being targeted for using their own country's immigration system is just ridiculous. And what's with the whole "Would your mama be proud of you right now?" comment?
That was so rude and hurtful.
And can we talk about the lack of transparency? ICE agents just walk in, detain people, and then drop them off somewhere else without even explaining why they're being arrested. It's like a bad cop show or something.
And the fact that these workers are afraid to go to work because of it is just devastating.
We need to do better as a society. We need to support our workers and make sure they feel safe coming to the table (literally!). This isn't about immigration policy, it's about basic human rights and dignity.
Let's raise some awareness and demand that policymakers take action to protect these vulnerable workers!
