Man this is crazy ... I dont get why protesters would disrupt a church service like that tho... it's one thing to protest against ICE policies in general, but disrupting a worship service? That's just another kind of violence, you know? And the pastor dude has no idea what's going on because he wasn't even there . But at the same time, I can see why people would be upset about someone who is supposed to be spiritual leading people who are enforcing immigration laws... it's like a contradiction right? And now the AG is all up in arms saying that this kind of thing won't happen on her watch . But what really gets me is how ICE is blaming the governor and mayor for inciting protests, when clearly that's not even close to what happened here... it's just a bunch of people losing their cool, you feel?
I'm still in shock about this protest at that church in St Paul... like what's going on here? Someone gets a job as an ICE official and suddenly it's like they're not supposed to be there because of their faith? I remember when I was in school, our teachers were always telling us to respect the law and serve the community. Now it seems like it's okay to turn that around and say "if you're going to do that job, you can't hold that position"... it just doesn't add up to me . The government needs to figure out what's going on here and take care of it before someone gets hurt... or worse .
this is so messed up what's going on with these protesters I get that they're upset about ICE officials but disrupting a church service? that's a whole different level of crazy I mean I can understand the outrage but not the violent way to express it shouldn't they have found some other way to make their voices heard? and now there's an investigation into FACE Act, good, hopefully someone gets held accountable for this mess
this is just so messed up, like someone who's supposed to be spreading love & kindness is also enforcing laws that hurt people, you know? it's like living in a dystopian novel where faith & morality get all twisted and the justice system is more interested in silencing dissent than protecting free speech . meanwhile, our leaders are just sitting back, doing nothing, while protesters take matters into their own hands . it's time for some real accountability, like who's really behind these protests & why?
