Newly Released Emails Reveal Elon Musk's Planned Visit to Jeffrey Epstein's Island in 2012 and 2014.
In a shocking revelation, newly released emails from the US Department of Justice have exposed that billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk had planned visits to Jeffrey Epstein's private island in the Caribbean in 2012 and 2014.
The emails show that in September 2012, Epstein invited Musk to visit his island, known as Little St. James, with an offer for him to "come vist [sic] me on my island in the caribbean. bring=your friend or friends." To which Musk replied: "Sounds good, will try to make it."
Just a few days later, Epstein asked how many people Musk would be bringing along, to which Musk responded: "Probably just Talulah and me." The two men had previously been linked through various connections.
In December 2013, the emails reveal that Epstein was looking forward to Musk visiting his island, but ultimately had to cancel due to a scheduling conflict. Despite this, Musk expressed enthusiasm for meeting up with Epstein at a "facility," although it's unclear what the facility referred to.
Another email from February 2013 mentions a planned lunch in St. Bartβs between Musk and Epstein, which was later revealed to be between Musk and Epstein co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell, according to Maxwell herself.
The revelations have raised questions about whether other emails had been withheld by the Department of Justice as part of their ongoing release of Epstein files.
Rep. Robert Garcia said that despite the DOJ claiming they were fully complying with the law, roughly 50% of the Epstein files remain unreleased. The full extent of these files remains unclear.
It's also worth noting that Musk had previously claimed he refused to visit Epstein's island in 2012 and 2014. However, according to the new emails, it appears that Musk had expressed interest in visiting the island before ultimately being unable to do so due to scheduling conflicts.
