Ending the war in Ukraine has more support than ever. So why is peace still not in sight? | Gwendolyn Sasse

🤔💡 I feel like we're stuck in this limbo where everyone's talking but no one's listening 🗣️♂️. The coalition of 35 countries in Paris was a step in the right direction, but if there's not concrete action to back it up, what's the point? 🤦‍♀️

It's like Russia is just playing a game of chess with us, and we're not even paying attention 😴. Putin thinks he can dictate terms and time will be on his side? ⏰ I don't think so! We need to bring some real pressure to the table 👊.

And what about those European countries that want to send troops to Ukraine's borders? 🤝 Are they just talking or are they actually going to do something? It feels like nobody's making any real commitments here 💼.

We can't just keep relying on empty promises and vague declarations 📝. We need concrete security guarantees for Ukraine, and we need them now! ⏱️💪

omg ukraine peac talks r like super stalled rn 🤔💔 i mean, 35 countries meet in paris and nothin concrete comes out of it? it's like, what's the point if nobody's makin moves 💁‍♀️🕰️ but for real, where's the commitment from russia? putin seems to be playin a super chill vibe 🤪 meanwhile, ukraine's still gettin destroyed and nobody's doin squat 😔 i think it's time 4 a bigger strategy 2 come in 👊

I mean, it's kinda weird that nobody's really bringing their A-game to these peace talks 🤔. I get that both sides have been hurt before and are kinda hesitant to back down, but it's like they're all just waiting for the other shoe to drop instead of actually working towards a solution.

And what's up with Russia being so nonchalant about everything? It's not exactly reassuring when someone shows signs of "time is a luxury I can afford" 💸. Ukraine really needs some concrete guarantees here, and it sounds like nobody's willing to put their neck on the line for that 🤦‍♂️.

I'm all for informal diplomatic relations and trying new approaches, but this just feels like a bunch of hot air at the moment 😒. We need some real progress, not just empty promises and declarations 💬. The international community needs to step up its game if we're gonna get anything done here 🌎.

I don’t usually comment but it seems like no matter how many talks and gatherings happen, we're still far off from getting any real progress on this Ukraine situation 🤔🌎. I mean, 35 countries show up to Paris, that's awesome, but if there aren't concrete actions to back those words up, what's the point? 🤷‍♂️ It's like everyone's just having a nice chat without actually getting anything done. And yeah, Russia not being on board is a huge hurdle to overcome 💪. I don't think anyone expects an end to this conflict overnight, but it feels like we're stuck in limbo 🕰️. What do you guys think is the main obstacle here?
