I'm living in the bay area too.. I remember when I was a kid we'd have like, 1-2 ft high tides during summer... now it's like 3-4 ft already! 
And yeah, I've seen people having to swim through their garages and stuff. It's crazy. I'm all for the nature-based solutions tho... wetlands are a great way to deal with sea level rise. But we need more funding for infrastructure upgrades too 
. Can't just rely on nature alone to save us. We gotta work together as communities and governments to protect our homes and businesses.
