the latest on ICE deployment in Minneapolis is really worrying , thousands of residents taking a stand against these agents is inspiring but also super intense , I wonder how it's going to affect the community long-term... and what about the politicians involved? are they holding up their end of the bargain or just letting the situation escalate? on a lighter note, did you see that article on Ali Akbar being knighted by Macron? what an amazing story, it's great to see people making a difference in the press world

I don’t usually comment but I just saw that in Minneapolis people are getting pretty aggressive with ICE agents who came to their city... it’s like they're feeling completely outnumbered and outmatched . I think it's understandable that people would want to protect each other, especially if someone from the community is being threatened or deported. But at the same time, it's scary to see how violent things can get in a matter of minutes . Maybe there should be some kind of mediator or way to calm people down before things escalate? Just a thought...

OMG u guyz i cant even right now!!! i just read this article on th guardian and its like totally amazing!!! there r these thousands of ppl in minneapolis who are standin up 2 ice agents & it's literally the most inspiring thing eva! they r makin a diff and i love it!!! and then ther's this guy ali akbar who got knighted by emmanuel macron for bein dedicated 2 france's newspaper press? like what even is that?! i need more info about him ASAP!!!
