This blockade is a total disaster for Cuba, it's like they're suffocating the island. I mean, 15-20 days of fuel, can you even imagine? People are struggling to get basic necessities like food and medicine. It's like the US government doesn't care about the Cuban people at all.I'm also really worried about the impact on the environment, using wood and coal for cooking is not only bad for the health, but it's also destroying the ecosystem. And what's with the reduced office hours, cut fuel sales, and shorter school days? It's like they're adding more stress to an already broken system.
I'm all for dialogue and respect for international law, but at the same time, I think the US should be holding a mirror to its own actions. This blockade has been in place for decades and it's clear that it's not working. Cuba needs help, and fast.

seriously, can't we all just get along? Cuba's like the ultimate victim here - stuck in a trade war since '59 and now they're facing a fuel crisis. 100k barrels of oil per day is like, peanuts for us, but for them, it's a matter of life or death. I mean, even if the US wants to push for regime change (ugh), can't they at least throw some support Cuba's way?

. The UN is saying this is a "humanitarian emergency" but still, no concrete action from the US side... Can't they just talk & work out a solution?
