Movement Festival Lineup Announced: Detroit Prepares for 20th Anniversary of Techno Mecca

The wait is over, and fans of Detroit's techno scene can rejoice as the full lineup for Movement Music Festival has been revealed. Taking place over Memorial Day Weekend in May, the three-day festival will feature a staggering 115 artists performing at Hart Plaza.

Headlining the event are Sara Landry and Dom Dolla, joining previously announced Carl Cox at the top of the bill. Other notable acts include The Dare, Boys Noize, Juan Atkins, Peezy, jessica Care moore, and many more.

Sara Landry, an American DJ and producer based in Amsterdam, is thrilled to return to Detroit for Movement. "The energy in this city is undeniable — I'm always thrilled to come back to the birthplace of techno," she said in a statement. "I'm going to bring something extra special to my set, and I can't wait to share it with you."

Dom Dolla, an Australian DJ and producer, also expressed his excitement about returning to Movement. "Movement is one of my favorite festivals... The history, the scope of performers and range of people coming together from multiple generations and backgrounds, make it one of the most meaningful events to play," he said.

The festival marks 20 years of Paxahau as producers of the event, and fans can expect a three-day celebration of Detroit's rich techno heritage. Tickets are now available, and attendees can look forward to an unforgettable weekend of music in the heart of the city.

omg have you tried those new matcha latte cups from Starbucks? 🤔 they're so good for your skin, apparently the green tea is full of antioxidants that help reduce inflammation. i mean, i know it's just a cup of coffee but i've noticed my skin looking clearer since i started drinking them regularly. anyway back to movement festival... i heard that Detroit techno scene has such a rich history and i'd love to experience it firsthand one day 🎵

lol movement festival is getting so big 🤯, its not even the hart plaza anymore. they need to get a bigger venue or else tickets are gonna be thru the roof. and its not fair that sara landry gets her own stage 🎉 while some other talented artists have to share with two other DJs on a b2b set. i mean im hyped for dom dolla's return too tho, he always brings the energy 🤯 but seriously movement needs to up their game. maybe a second weekend or somethin' 🤔
