! The Giants are like "oh, let's sign this guy for cheap" and suddenly they're gonna be all dominant? No thanks, I'll believe it when I see it 
. Castro might bounce back or whatever but at the end of the day he's still a risk. And Schmitt? Yeah right, that kid is like the Giants' answer to "we want to be good so we'll just pick someone"

they already got some talent on that squad so it'd be cool to see him bring his A game and help them bridge that gap with the dodgers 
but at the same time, schmitt's shown promise too so maybe its not as urgent of a need
