Greater Philly Pet Expo returns with dogs, cats and alpacas

Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo Brings Together Animals and Entertainment for 3-Day Weekend

The Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo is set to return on March 6-8, drawing over 10,000 pet lovers and their companions to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks. The event promises an exciting line-up of live entertainment, educational programs, and a massive marketplace geared towards animal enthusiasts.

Attendees can expect a thrilling array of interactive attractions, including high-flying dog performances by Gail Mirabella's Dynamo Disc Dogs and Circus Stella's performing rescue dogs. Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in lure coursing with Luring 101 and witness rare and exotic reptiles at the Rainforest Reptile Show.

In addition to these spectacular events, the expo features a range of animal exhibits, including a TICA Championship Cat Show, rabbit hopping agility demos, and pig performances by Piggyvilla. The highlight of the show will be a special alpaca exhibit where visitors can meet and learn about these famously soft animals up close.

Gus the Brahman steer will also make an appearance on site for photos on Saturday and Sunday. Beyond the entertainment, the expo puts a strong focus on responsible pet ownership by partnering with local rescue groups and community organizations to feature adoptable animals and resources for prospective pet parents.

The event offers something for everyone, with free admission for kids 12 and under on Friday's Family Night. General admission for adults is $15, while tickets for children aged 4-11 are $6. Kids under 3 years old will receive free entry.

Hours of operation are as follows: Friday from 3 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The expo center, located at 100 Station Ave. in Oaks, PA 19456, offers free parking for all attendees.

This event is being generated by PhillyVoice Media Events, not by the editorial staff.

man ๐Ÿค” I'm actually kinda hyped about this pet expo! ๐ŸŽ‰ i've got a friend with a pup and they're always looking for new things to do with them, and it sounds like this event is gonna be lit ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’ฅ with all the dog performances and agility demos. but what really gets me excited is that they're featuring adoptable animals from local rescue groups - my family has a cat at home who's been with us since she was a kitten, so it's always awesome to see people giving homes to pets in need ๐Ÿฑโค๏ธ. i'm not sure how busy the expo center will be tho...i hope they've got enough staff on hand to handle all the attendees ๐Ÿ’ช

man this pet expo sounds like so much fun ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽช i wish my pup could go with me but he's still a puppy lol. i love that they're featuring adoptable animals and resources for people who want to get a new furry friend. it's always great to see rescue groups and community organizations involved in events like this ๐Ÿถโค๏ธ. and the alpaca exhibit sounds hilarious ๐Ÿ˜‚ can't wait to see gus the Brahman steer at the expo! hehe what a cool name ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I'm so down for this pet expo! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’• I love how they're focusing on responsible pet ownership and featuring adoptable animals. It's a great way to raise awareness about pet adoption and help people find their new furry friends. And can we talk about all the fun entertainment options? Dog performances, reptile shows, pig shows... it's going to be so lit! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’ฅ I'm not sure if I'll bring my own pet or just go as a spectator, but either way, I know I'll have an amazing time. Plus, free admission for kids on Friday is a huge bonus - it's the perfect family-friendly event. I've already added it to my calendar and can't wait to get there! ๐Ÿ“…

๐Ÿค” I just found out about this Pet Expo and I'm like "when did this happen? ๐Ÿ™ˆ" it's already been a few days ago and I'm only hearing about it now ๐Ÿ˜‚. anyway, gotta say, the lineup of events sounds pretty cool! the dog performances and reptile show sound super interesting to me ๐Ÿพ๐ŸฆŽ. and yay for the free admission on Friday, that's awesome for families with little ones ๐Ÿ‘ช. also, partnering with local rescue groups is really great, it's always good to see ppl supporting pet adoption ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’•

๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’• omg can't wait for this event! my friend has a dog and he's been practicing his dog tricks for weeks. i think it's awesome that they're featuring rescue dogs and adoptable animals at the expo. my aunt has a pet store nearby and she's always talking about how hard it is to find homes for pets in need. i'm sure this event will be super fun and educational for everyone involved ๐Ÿคฉ

I'm so down for this pet expo ๐Ÿถ๐ŸŽ‰... but wait, I just thought about it and maybe it's a bit too crowded? Like, 10,000 people in one place might be overwhelming for both humans and animals ๐Ÿคฏ... or is that just a cop-out? Maybe it'll actually bring everyone together and create some amazing experiences? But on the other hand, wouldn't all those extra people make it harder for me to take a selfie with Gus the Brahman steer ๐Ÿ˜‚? And what about the noise level โ€“ might it be too loud for my poor ears? ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ Or will I love every minute of it and want to go back next year?
