this is so tragic it feels like we're reliving similar stories from different parts of africa every few months... the lack of progress in nigeria's conflict has been frustrating for a long time now. the fact that these gunmen just vanished into the forest after leaving destruction and death behind is super concerning, what does this say about the government's ability to secure the country? also can't help but think about those kids who got abducted... their lives will never be the same & it's up to us to make sure their memories aren't forgotten
omg 37 people dead and like a whole village is gone... i mean what's next? will they start attacking our homes too? at least 30 villagers killed and multiple ppl abducted, and still no security forces to save the day? this is insane! those abandoned forest reserves are like a superpower for armed gangs - they can just hide out and attack anytime. & now kids are missing... i mean, what's left to do but just cry? we need some serious help from our leaders to deal with these gangs ASAP!
