Handcuffed suspect found in Tomball area after escaping custody from Ben Taub hospital, HCSO says

A handcuffed suspect has been found in the Tomball area after a daring escape from custody at Ben Taub Hospital. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Carlos Molina Hernandez, 27, was being held in custody following his arrest for aggravated assault.

Hernandez had initially been arrested for pulling a gun on two people in the Berry Orchard Lane area and making threats against them, although it later turned out to be a BB gun. After being taken into custody, he was hospitalized due to intoxication and minor injuries sustained during the incident.

Following his arrest, Hernandez was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, but after being discharged, he managed to escape from custody when the patrol car he was in would not start. He made his way out of the vehicle and fled on foot while still wearing handcuffs.

The suspect's escape route took him through a grassy area before he reached the intersection of Braeswood Boulevard and Moursun Street, where he lost sight of the pursuing officer. Despite an effort to recapture him by additional units, Hernandez managed to evade capture until the community came forward with tips that led to his location.

Sheriff's officials say that tips from the public played a crucial role in tracking down the suspect, ensuring that Hernandez is now back in custody and facing justice for his alleged crimes.

so great to see someone gets their freedom after all those 'minor injuries' ๐Ÿ™„โ€โ™‚๏ธ... like who needs actual medical attention when you've got a BB gun? anyway, can't believe the authorities didn't think Hernandez was smart enough to hotwire a patrol car ๐Ÿ˜‚, I mean, we're not saying it's impossible or anything... and on the bright side, tips from the public helped bring him back in ๐Ÿ™, guess that means all those people who got scared by his 'threats' got their lives back too ๐Ÿ’•

Wow ๐Ÿ˜ฎ this is crazy how one tiny thing like a patrol car not starting can lead to an entire city manhunt ๐Ÿ˜… and I feel bad for the officers who had to chase him down even with handcuffs on ๐Ÿš”๐Ÿ‘Š interesting that people actually came forward with tips to help catch him ๐Ÿ‘

I'm shocked that this guy was able to escape, I mean he was literally handcuffed ๐Ÿคฏ. It's crazy that he managed to make it out of the hospital and didn't get caught until people in the community started talking about him on social media ๐Ÿ’ฌ. The sheriff's office is doing a great job though, they were able to track him down thanks to all the tips they got from the public. I'm just glad no one was hurt during the whole ordeal ๐Ÿ˜Š. It's also kind of weird that he had a BB gun on him in the first place... did he think he was in a movie or something? ๐ŸŽฅ

๐Ÿ˜ฌ Can you even believe what happened here?! So this guy, Carlos Molina Hernandez, he was all about causing trouble, pulling a gun on people, making threats... but it turns out it was just a BB gun ๐ŸŽฏ. I mean, I get it, being in the wrong place at the wrong time can be super stressful, and intoxication is no excuse, but still.

But what's wild is how he managed to escape from custody. I guess the patrol car died on him? ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ˜ฉ Anyway, the community really came together to help bring him back in. It's awesome to see people looking out for each other like that.

I'm just glad no one got seriously hurt during the whole ordeal, and now he's facing justice. You gotta respect the law, right? ๐Ÿ’ช The fact that tips from the public were super helpful in tracking him down is just another example of how social media can be a powerful tool for good. ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿš” This guy must be having a major midlife crisis ๐Ÿคฏ or just not thinking clearly about consequences... like handcuffs aren't exactly designed to be escaped from ๐Ÿ˜‚. And what's up with the patrol car not starting? That's like something out of a bad cop show ๐Ÿ“บ. Anyways, glad they got him back, hope he gets some help for whatever issues are going on in his life ๐Ÿ’”. It's also wild how quickly the community came together to provide tips and help bring him back in custody ๐Ÿค, shows you've got good people out there who care about keeping their neighborhood safe ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

Ugh, another genius escape artist, lol. I mean, who tries to make a break for it while still wearing handcuffs? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Carlos Molina Hernandez, you're a real life action movie star... or a wanted fugitive. Either way, kudos to the community for coming forward with tips that helped bring him back in. But let's be real, this is just another case of someone making reckless decisions and putting themselves and others at risk. ๐Ÿ™„ Guess he won't be getting a free pass on his intoxication issue anytime soon... or ever.

I'm kinda surprised they didn't catch this guy sooner ๐Ÿค”. I mean, he was literally handcuffed, but managed to escape anyway. It's like his brain just took over and he got outta there. And the craziest part is, tips from the public were what actually caught him... not the cops or anything ๐Ÿ˜‚. What if these community members had been watching his whole ordeal on the news or something? They'd be heroes for doing their civic duty ๐Ÿ™. But at the same time, it's kinda scary that someone could just walk out of a hospital while they're supposed to be locked up... not good for public safety ๐Ÿ’ก.

man I cant believe what happened here ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Carlos Molina Hernandez managed to escape from custody not once but TWICE ๐Ÿคฏ and people are gonna be like "oh that's bad" yeah its super bad but at the same time we gotta think about why this guy ended up in hospital due to intoxication and stuff ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ it raises some questions about how his arrest was handled maybe they didnt do enough to ensure he wouldn't escape again? or maybe hes just a genius who managed to pull off two daring escapes ๐Ÿ˜Ž either way its crazy that the public came through with tips to help bring him back in ๐Ÿ™

๐Ÿ˜’ I'm like "duh"! I mean, who does this? Some adult gets arrested for aggravated assault with a BB gun, gets taken to hospital because they're drunk and hurt themselves, and then manages to escape from police while they're trying to drive them home?! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ I know it's not like the cops didn't do their job or anything, but come on! A guy in handcuffs walking around with no car keys? That's just asking for trouble. And don't even get me started on how long it took people to report him back in... I mean, can't we all just use our common sense and look out for each other a bit more?! ๐Ÿ™„

I'm so done with these "daring escapes" everyone's always making such a big deal about ๐Ÿ™„. I mean, come on, he was wearing handcuffs the whole time ๐Ÿ˜‚. That's like trying to escape from prison while blindfolded... no wonder it didn't work out ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. And honestly, can we talk about how easy it is for anyone to give up good info to the cops? Just because some dude in Tomball decided to share a tip doesn't mean there's a hero on their hands ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ. I mean, what if that info came from someone who wasn't even looking out for Hernandez' best interests? ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿ˜‚โ€โ™‚๏ธ Can you believe this guy was able to escape from handcuffs? I mean, I've seen some slick moves on YouTube, but this takes the cake. BB gun at the ready, making threats left and right... meanwhile, he's literally walking around with his hands cuffed behind him ๐Ÿคฃ.

And then, of course, he gets lucky when the patrol car doesn't start, and voilร ! Off he goes, fleeing on foot while still sporting those handy cuffs ๐Ÿ’ฅ. I'm just waiting for the part where he trips over a pothole and face-plants into a bush ๐ŸŒฟ.

But seriously, it's always crazy to think about how quickly these situations can escalate (or devolve, in this case). And kudos to the community for coming forward with tips โ€“ justice is served! ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Omg ๐Ÿ˜ฒ I'm glad this guy is caught! ๐Ÿ™Œ But seriously, 27? That young to be doing aggravated assault? ๐Ÿค” I feel bad for those two people who had to deal with him at first. Anyway, it's crazy how he managed to escape in the first place - not starting his car? ๐Ÿ˜‚ That's a pretty convenient way to get out of cuffs! ๐Ÿ’ผ But kudos to the sheriff's office and the community for working together to catch him. I guess you could say justice was served ๐ŸŽ‰...and we can all breathe a sigh of relief now ๐Ÿ˜Š

man this guy was so lucky lol ๐Ÿ˜‚ he almost got away with it but honestly i feel bad for the cop who had to chase him down still wearing handcuffs that's crazy ๐Ÿคฏ and the fact that tips from the community helped track him down is really cool ๐Ÿ‘ the justice system can be frustrating at times but it seems like this time it worked out in the end. it's just a reminder that we all have a role to play in keeping our communities safe, even if it's just sharing a tip with the authorities ๐Ÿš”๐Ÿ’ก

.. can you believe this dude thought he could just escape while handcuffed ๐Ÿ˜‚? I mean, I get it, Ben Taub Hospital is not exactly known for its maximum-security facilities, but still... ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ It's like, you're in the middle of getting treated for your own mistakes, and you just decide to make a break for it? ๐Ÿš”

And on top of that, he had to get lost in this grassy area because his patrol car wouldn't start? ๐ŸŒฟ That's some wild stuff right there. I'm just glad the community came forward with tips and helped bring him back in custody before things got out of hand.

I guess it's a good reminder that even though we like to romanticize the past, there are still plenty of things about old times that don't exactly hold up... ๐Ÿ˜…

I'm so confused how did he even escape from Ben Taub Hospital? Like, they have security measures in place right? And what's with the patrol car not starting? Was it like, broken or something? ๐Ÿค” I mean, I know it's supposed to sound dramatic when someone says "he broke free" but honestly, how hard is it to fix a car? ๐Ÿš— And what about all those people around him who could've stopped him if they just reacted fast enough? It's crazy that the public had to come forward with tips for the cops to catch him again. I guess you never really know what's going on behind closed doors... ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I'm not surprised people think crime doesn't pay ๐Ÿค‘. I mean, sure, you might be able to escape at first, but in the end, it's always gonna catch up with you. The public really came through this time, showing that a community can make a difference when they work together ๐Ÿ’•. It's like, we all know someone who's made a mistake or two (we've all been there, right? ๐Ÿคฃ), but it takes courage to own up and face the consequences. This guy might've thought he was clever, but in reality, he just proved that our community is strong and won't let him get away with his actions ๐Ÿ˜Š.

man... this whole thing got me thinking about freedom and how it can be both a blessing and a curse ๐Ÿค”. on one hand, you gotta respect that someone's willing to take risks to break free from the shackles of society, even if it means going against the law. but at the same time, there's this idea of accountability and justice... like, we need to make sure these folks don't get a second chance just 'cause they managed to slip through the cracks ๐Ÿš”.

i mean, what's the real cost of escapism? is it really worth sacrificing your freedom for a moment of excitement or liberation? or is it more about taking responsibility for your actions and facing the consequences ๐Ÿ’ก. anyway, glad that the community came together to help get this guy back behind bars ๐Ÿ™.

https://www.houstonchronicle.com/ne...-sheriff-says-public-helped-find-him-15489121 ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I mean, can you even imagine trying to escape with handcuffs on? Not a good look for the guy. But seriously, it's awesome that the community came together and helped the sheriff's office track him down. It just goes to show how important those anonymous tips can be. And yeah, it's a bit concerning that someone was able to make it out of a hospital while still being held in custody... idk what kind of security they have at Ben Taub Hospital? ๐Ÿค”
